Chapter 1041: Raze Unleashed (Part 1)
From the very beginning since Raze had entered the strange ruins, when he had noticed the type of magic and the enchantments that were being used, he was trying to figure out how it worked.
If he figured out how it worked, he could reverse and break the spell. One would quickly have to rewrite the magic enchantment, reversing and breaking it either physically or doing it in one’s mind.
Of course, writing another magic circle would be easier, allowing one to see everything that they were doing and if they would make a mistake or not. It was somewhat like doing an extremely long multiplication in one’s mind.
Although there were those that could do it, there were those that would need to write it all down to get the correct answer. In this case, there was no time to write it all down, nor anything to write it with.
Raze had completely reverse-engineered the spell in his head, breaking it down, and now he was finally free.
It had taken a while, longer than he thought due to several interruptions during it, but he didn’t give up. Maybe some others would have let up, maybe some mages wouldn’t have even tried when realizing how difficult it was or that there was another way to get the Golden Globe, but not Raze.
The answer was simple: so far, life hadn’t been so easy for him. It had never been easy for him, so why would that change now? He knew that based on the others’ evaluation, he would never have been given the Golden Globe. When had life ever been that easy?
For a moment, for a brief second, he thought that maybe it had been the case when Beatrix had said she would hand him an item, but in the back of his mind, he didn’t believe it, and until the very last second, he had been breaking down the spell.
Although Raze couldn’t use magic that wasn’t necessary, the barrier working across the island operated quite similarly to the barriers they were in now. It wasn’t that they couldn’t use it, but more so whatever it was that was activated was quickly dissipated and evaporated into nothing.
Making it all practically useless-to break down a spell, Raze only needed a single spark for it to work. To break a small string to allow the whole string to crumble down.
“Hey, that guy’s out, the Dark Magus is out!” Red said. “What gives, so there really is a way out of this thing? How did he do that!”
Red immediately started to bang his fists against the barrier, wondering if it had weakened at all, but it was useless and did nothing. Red started to wonder, what if there was another mage here? Could they do the same as Raze?
He was unaware of just how impressive or hard it was to do such a thing.
“Oh?” Mosak said, raising an eyebrow. “And so, you’re the one that’s able to break out. Well, it figures of all people the mage would have been able to break free from a spell that had trapped us here in the first place.
“It makes me curious though why you came out. If you had the chance, then why didn’t you escape?”
Raze pulled the sword out from its scabbard and held the ghost blade firmly in one of his hands.
“Why are you asking a question to such an obvious answer? You saw what I went through; the Golden Globe is my answer to get back to Alterian, my answer to get back. Do you think I would just let you take it right in front of me?” Raze asked.
“You have a point,” Mosak said, placing his hand on his chin, and a deep smile appeared. “But you saw my past as well; you know exactly what I am.” Mosak spread out both of his hands, and golden energy flowed in the air to both of them.
Although magic couldn’t be used still, it was different for Mosak who didn’t just have Qi, but he had Qi of a divine warrior in his hands. “I have the power of a Divine warrior; you inferiors should know your place.”
With the glowing substance in his hands, Mosak then threw out his fists. There was still quite a distance between where Raze was and him—the glowing energy escaped from Mosak’s hands and went through the air at a fast speed right towards Raze.
All of the warriors in the room knew what was being used.
‘Projectile Qi!’ Lince thought. ‘This is no imitation of projectile Qi, this is the real thing. Mosak is able to allow Qi to completely leave his body in attacks. This truly shows that he has great control over his Qi.
‘Those attacks will be as powerful as if Mosak was using his fists directly.’
Having fought against Mosak not too long ago, they knew how powerful strikes from such fists were.
With them coming close, Raze stayed in his position and swung his sword, hitting each one of them. His sword glowing with strong, powerful energy. As he hit each of the glowing auras of Qi, vibrations shook the whole place, and even through the barriers, Qi could be felt in the bones of those watching.
“Oh…you stopped those. You must have quite the powerful Qi. If it was any of the others, they would have all been eliminated by now. But aren’t you a mage? You’re not even a warrior, so how is it that your Qi can be even better than theirs?”
Raze, firmly looking at Mosak, took a deep breath. As he breathed in, he allowed all of the Qi to go through his body, and next step, he kicked off vengeance from right in front of Mosak. Right after, Raze had appeared in the air.
He spun his body, performing one of the descending steps and one of the falling demonic formations, performing his trusted Crimson Slash. His sword swung down, and Mosak was able to catch it just in time with both of his hands.
Qi continued to pulsate in the entire area, as energy flowed right behind Raze and Qi energy was flowing right off of Mosak as well. The struggle could clearly be seen on his face and no longer did he have the same gentle smile he usually would have.
“This power is a gift, and I’m going to use it just as he told me to, to get rid of anyone who gets in my way!” Raze shouted.
Chapter 1042: Raze Unleashed (Part 2)
The attack from Raze was fierce from the get-go, and unlike the items before when he had met with the others, he wasn’t testing out his own power or Qi; he was using it to the fullest. He was condensing his Qi, all that he had learned from his fights so far, and was unleashing it to this point.
‘A gift given to me by Belil-something that I hadn’t realized how precious it was until this moment. If I hadn’t been given this strength, maybe I wouldn’t even be able to face the person in front of me, but because of him, I can!’
Raze had pulled back the sword quickly, noticing that he wouldn’t be able to win with just the power of strength alone. The moment he did, he stopped on the floor, performing the first descending step, shaking the entire room once again.
The others were weary as they could hear the sound of the crystals chattering against each other. Right after, Raze took a swing with the sword from the side, aiming to hit Mosak anyway he could.
Mosak lifted his arm to block, but the impact wasn’t strong. No, instead it was light. He could feel the sword brushing against his hand, and the moment it hit, the sword felt like it was being pulled and coming from another direction.
Raze continued to do this, and Mosak was only able to block.
‘What is this? It’s not making any sense to me,’ Mosak thought. ‘He’s pulling his attacks, he’s only hitting me lightly with the sword…but why? Most people would attack with full strength. If he’s doing this, then I won’t even have to block!’
Mosak didn’t bother blocking the next hit that was coming to his side as the sword was swung at him, and instead, he went for a fist ready to hit Raze. Only it was a big mistake. When the sword hit Mosak’s side this time, a full-force hit filled with the power of Qi and Raze’s strength was felt behind the hit.
“ARGHH!” Raze shouted as his sword pushed Mosak’s body and lifted him off the air, flinging him to the side and sweeping past the others until a loud crash was heard in the distance.
Raze finally let out a deep breath, huffing and panting as he wiped the sweat from his head.
‘Everything about my body-it’s better than it was before. I can feel it, I’m at the peak of my stage, close to reaching the Divine stage.’
Although there were those like Murkel who had gained the titles closest to the Divine stage, now Raze himself was able to see how far they were from such a thing. Taking in Belil’s power, who was a Divine Stage warrior, Raze could feel it.
With his senses enhanced, he had decided to battle in a way he would do as a mage, rather than a warrior-using the tools he had in various ways. Rather than attacking with full force, if Raze could see his hit was going to be blocked, then he would thrust the sword against Mosak’s arms, hard enough for them to bounce back and allow him to attack again from another angle.
But not hard enough for him to fully commit either with his attacks, until he knew his attacks were going to hit. With his keen senses, he could feel it. Just like Raze could tell as mana swirled through the air, he could feel the Qi swirling when Mosak was going to attack.
Beatrix had tried to get up on the ground a few times as the fight was going on between the two, but it was impossible for her. Each time she tried to stand, another clash of the two would occur, and the vibration of the Qi would send her tumbling back down again.
‘This is the man that I fought against back then, from so long ago? I can’t even comprehend what he’s doing, and he’s only been using basic attacks and the very basics of the Demonic Faction skills.’
The reason for this was because it was all that Raze knew. He only knew a handful of techniques-three Demonic Formations that he had combined into the Crimson Slash. He knew the descending steps that power all of his attacks.
There was also the Lightning Steps technique that he had learned, but using them without magic and in this situation would put him at a huge disadvantage, and then there were the others as well.
“Ha, ha, ha!” Mosak laughed from afar, walking forward. His face could be seen coming out of the darkness back into the fighting area, seemingly unhurt.
“It’s no wonder that man from before put so much hope in you. It appears you are strong, you are very strong indeed. I underestimated you,” Mosak claimed. “To be honest, I didn’t want to go head-to-head with the person I consider to be my savior.”
Twisting his neck to the side, a loud click was heard, and then Mosak twisted his head to the other side towards his shoulder as another click was made.
“I told you, I’m not your savior,” Raze answered.
“Do you think you’ve already won this fight from a few simple tricks?” Mosak asked. “That is all you have shown so far-it’s just a trick, and tricks can only work once or twice until someone gets the hang of them.
“My guess is you’re currently at the peak of the Middle stage. You’re close to reaching the Divine stage, but that’s the difference between the two of us. I’m at the Divine stage, and I’m even able to use part of my power down here.
“You won’t be able to make up that difference with petty tricks; you’re going to need something a lot more than that.” Mosak placed his hands together, and the glowing energy had gathered into a ball.
Then, stretching out his hands further, the golden energy had formed a long spear shape. Mosak held it in both hands like he would a spear, and now he was physically holding a spear made out of his own Qi, that was continuously glowing.
This was different from visual Qi-a solid formation of it, the likes that none of them had seen before.
“I’m sorry,” Raze said as he stood there with his sword, and bent his knees down slightly. The sword was glowing bright orange, and the Qi started to swirl around the back of his hilt. “I haven’t had this power for long, so I can’t control it too well. I have no choice but to go all out. “Dark Edge Sword Arts, The Fourth Formation-Void Pulse!”
Chapter 1043: Energy Everywhere
The moment Ricar saw the spear form in Mosak’s hand, he could tell that the Divine warrior was now taking the fight more seriously. From the visions, he could tell that the warrior was from the Aurora Clan, and the specialty was to use spears.
With the spear made from his own powerful condensed Qi, techniques were now able to be used to their fullest. Although Ricar didn’t say it and didn’t want this to be the reality, he believed that Raze had already lost the fight.
‘Beatrix, will she be able to get out of this?’ Ricar thought.
However, his doubt was almost instantly cleared as he saw Raze performing one of his most powerful techniques-the Dark Edge Sword Arts formations. The Qi was swirling behind his hilt in the air. Masses of Visual Qi were swirling in circles.
To the point where it almost looked like the abyss base of the Neverfall Clan. The Qi was incredibly condensed and was filling the room to the point where it made those in the room feel sick to their stomach.
‘I never did like the feeling of Demonic Qi… but I can’t believe it. Right now, I’m rooting for a member of the Demonic Faction to best a Divine warrior from the Light Faction!’
“Void Pulse!” The Qi exploded behind the hilt, flowing through Raze’s feet and launched him forward.
At the same time, Mosak spun his spear in the air and raised it above his head, swinging it down. The spear made from his Qi and Raze’s attack had crashed into each other. The Qi waves shook throughout the room, to the point where it had even shattered some of the crystals that were on the lower floors, breaking them apart and turning them to nothing.
Ricar, Impress, Lince, and all of the others were lifted off their feet from the powerful attacks that had collided, but their backs had crashed into the barriers, stopping them from going any further.
When Lince got a view of what was happening, he could see a large current of Qi covering the two of them. Two of the energies were constantly fighting against each other.
“So you can match up with my strength then, huh?” Mosak said. “But two are bad for you. There’s a big difference. I can tell part of this power is all for the technique; your momentum is going to die down!”
Mosak used his makeshift Qi spear and pulled Raze’s sword to the side. He then spun his spear in the air. The remnants of Raze’s attack and the Qi were being pulled out from around him and being shifted away into nothing but the empty space behind.
“Get ready!” Mosak said as he stopped spinning the spear, and then swung it towards Raze.
Quickly, Raze was able to block the attack, but the weight of the Qi attack was hitting and almost toppling his body to the side. After every hit, Mosak was then pulling the spear back and hitting Raze from a different angle.
Now Mosak was almost doing the same thing to Raze, hitting him constantly and bouncing the attacks off his body. The only difference was Mosak was doing such a thing all with full power behind his strikes.
Then, after hitting Raze’s sword again, Mosak spun his body and with the back blunt side of his spear, he hit Raze right in the stomach. He was lifted off his feet and now Raze was flung in the air so far back until he had crashed into the wall from behind.
Blood poured out of his mouth slightly, but Raze was quick to recover as he decided to pull himself out of the wall and not fall to the ground.
‘My body before-if I was hit by that, would I have been done with, dealt with right there and then?’
Raze didn’t have much time to think about these thoughts because now Mosak was doing something else. He was spinning the spear side to side at an incredible speed, and out from the ends of the spear, several Qi blasts were coming his way.
They were coming out faster than the ones that had come from his fists and there were more of them all coming in Raze’s direction.
‘There’s too many for me to just deal with and deflect from my sword. I have no choice!’ Raze thought as he lifted the sword above his head and his Demonic Qi soared to the Ghost blade until it encased it.
‘The second formation, Eclipse Strike!’ The sword swung down, and the attack was spread wide, covering all of the attacks that were in front of him. It had engulfed them all and swept up the entire area.
It had even hit a few of the others that were stuck in the barriers, blocking their view from seeing anything. Thankfully, the barriers had protected them from the attack. When they could finally see again, they could see Mosak was fine, as he was spinning his spear, blocking all of the Qi that had come his way. He was almost using it as a shield to block all of the power of Raze’s attack, making them non-existent.
“So you can handle this Qi then?” Raze asked. “So I need to do much more. Just fighting with my sword skills and Qi is quite a pain, but I am thankful I at least get this experience.”
Beatrix on the floor was still present in the room, still with the Golden Globe in her hands, and she was having strange thoughts.
‘That attack from Raze-did he make sure that I didn’t get swept up in that, or am I imagining things?’ She thought.
“That was an annoying attack. Let’s make sure that doesn’t happen again!” Mosak said, jumping up in the air. He spun his spear above his head, and the tip of the weapon was
glowing brighter compared to every other part.
Raze swinging this had no choice but to try again as he swung his sword from below. It was shielded in Qi, performing the Eclipse Strike for a second time, only closer.
Raze’s sword collided with Mosak’s spear once again, and waves of Qi spread out in the entire room. As it was ready to hit the others, they were more prepared this time and ready to stand their ground.
What they weren’t prepared for was when the waves of Qi spread out and hit their barriers. The massive amount of power had shattered them completely, disintegrating the barriers in front of them.
“We can… move?” Lince said.

Chapter 1044: Remember Your Promise
Mosak’s raw energy had the power to break the barrier; everyone knew that. But what was impressive was how he was able to break it while still inside the barrier. Because in the circle barriers where they stood, energy couldn’t be gathered well.
It just went to show the type of raw power he had. Now that he was out of the barrier, he was free to use his Qi as he wished. It was a tough thought the others should have considered before, but due to the situation that was unfolding, they hadn’t really been thinking about such things.
If Mosak had the power to break the barriers while inside them, then the strength he had outside the barrier should easily be able to break them. With the battle between him and Raze, more and more Qi was overflowing from both ends.
To the point where the barriers on the outside had broken. It wasn’t just one of the barriers either, but every single one of them in the room had shattered, and they were now free to
move.
“Haha, well, will you look at that? It appears things are now open for all of us?” Red said. Instantly, his head turned, and it was aimed at Beatrix. Ricar had jumped from his position and reached Beatrix’s side with his arm, pulling her up.
“Ricar.” Beatrix said.
“You don’t have to say anything.” Ricar replied. “I understand your feelings well and what you did. At the end of the day, we were tasked with getting the Golden Globe, and we achieved that. As to what we do with it, it’s our decision, whether it makes us the enemies of Alter or not.”
The clash between Raze and Mosak continued. Even after using two of the Qi strikes, Raze was doing just fine. Although he wasn’t actually hitting Mosak, he noticed something. The properties of the Demonic Qi he was using were almost absorbing the Divine Qi energy that was being used as well.
Allowing him to continue using the Dark Edge Sword Arts one after the other. The issue was, though, as Raze swung his sword in between the big movements and clashed with Mosak more, he realized he was greatly lacking in one department against his opponent.
Mosak, with his spear, swept Raze’s sword to the side, and the energy continued forward, crashing into the wall and causing the entire wall to shake. Mosak then quickly, with one end, bashed it into Raze’s leg and then with the other hit Raze in his side, flinging him into the side of the wall.
With a quick recovery, Raze was back and facing Mosak once again, but there was a clear skill gap between the two, and Mosak’s Qi was possibly even stronger as well.
Ignoring the fight through, Red’s eyes were still set on Beatrix, and he had decided to move. The moment he did, the momentum was felt in the air and movement as well. Everyone could feel it.
“What’s happening?” Impress asked.
“It appears we’re heading back up, we’re heading to the top.” Lince answered.
He had a guess about the reason for what was happening. Now that all of them were out of the barriers, sooner than intended, the platform was raising to help everyone out. It was an unexpected circumstance in the whole situation.
Still, it took a moment for Red to get back up on his feet, and he was ready to go after Beatrix, yet he stopped himself and clicked his tongue.
“Of course, weaklings like you guys need to stick together,” Red claimed. The reason for his annoyance was simple-it was because Zon and Lince were now standing next to Beatrix and Ricar.
Impress wasn’t standing next to them, but she wasn’t exactly on Red’s side either, as a member of the Dawnblade Clan.
“This is what you decided to do after all this time?” Red asked. “Rather than fight me, you’re protecting this nobody? You don’t really care about the Golden Globe; I know you don’t. You just wanted to go after me, wherever I was, and here I am right here.”
The words were used to antagonize Zon clearly, but he stayed put as it clearly wasn’t working.
Finally, the group could see a light above. They were close to being back in the ruins, but at the same time, the fight between Mosak and Raze had intensified. The clashes and sword strikes were getting more fierce and harder on both of them.
They were constantly moving around the area from one place to the next at an incredibly fast speed, but Mosak was still getting the better of the two of them. Due to the rough situation, Raze felt like he had no choice as he swung his sword.
“Binding Formation!” The powerful Qi had restricted around Mosak, Qi swirling around his body. But rather than take this chance to attack, Raze had instead used it to catch his breath. The fighting had been high-paced for an incredibly long time, and just fighting without using his magic and focusing on the sword every single time was hard for Raze—a different type of toll on his mind.
It was only then that he realized that they were soon about to reach the top.
“I will stay and fight him. The rest of you should leave this place, leave the island if you must, don’t worry about me.” Raze said. “And as for you.”
Using his free hand, Raze pointed behind him. He didn’t turn his head and had only swung his hand as it landed on Beatrix.
“Remember what you said-don’t back out on your promise. I’ll be waiting for the Golden Globe.”
Beatrix didn’t answer, and at that moment, they had reached the very top, where Krynic was nowhere to be seen as well. The platform had connected as they were in the ruins.
“Ah, this is not a good place for us to fight. It seems a bit cramped for the two of us, right? Let’s clear some space!” Mosak claimed as he lifted his spear into the air. Golden energy exploded from the spear itself, and the energy went out in all directions, consuming every single one of them.

Chapter 1045: Making More Space
Krynic had listened to the words of his fellow allies. It was better for him to head back to where the others were. It meant heading through the jungle, a dangerous task for him to do on his own.
However, after having been in the jungle for a while, it would be an easy task, and he had learned the tricks and tips of navigating through it. Being a high middle-stage warrior also meant that if it came to it, he could run away if necessary. Although he didn’t want to admit it, there was currently no baggage of other warriors slowing him down.
The journey through the jungle was easier than he expected, as the beasts seemed to have all disappeared from the nearby areas. Before he knew it, he had reached where the ship they had arrived in was. Here, he had met up with Lyon, along with several other Light Faction warriors.
Some had decided to head back to the ship, while others were traveling with Lyon, but there weren’t many-around only ten individuals had managed to survive.
“What should we do?” Krynic asked. “There has to be a limit to these things, although something has clearly startled the beasts in the jungle so they aren’t focused on us. At any time, the whole group could be attacked again.”
“It’s only been two days in total since we have been on the island. It’s not enough time to count anyone gone or enough time to say that they won’t be out of there,” Lyon replied.
Krynic had given a few details about how they might have discovered a place that likely had the Golden Globe but didn’t explain who was there. He feared it would complicate things for the time being.
As they looked out in the distance, Krynic was staring at the location where he was not too long ago. Imagining just what was going on for them to take so long. Were they fighting against each other, were they trapped, or were things just more complicated than he could imagine?
As he placed his hand on the edge of the wooden ship, he could feel his hand vibrating. As they continued to look out, several birds started to fly up into the air.
“This rumbling—can you feel it? It’s Qi!” Lyon said, rushing over, and so did the other warriors.
“Qi, is it coming from that mountain all the way in the center of the island!” Krynic claimed. “How can we feel it from all the way here? Just what is going on?”
If it was Qi, it meant it was coming from a person and an individual. If that was the case, they had more power than any of them could imagine. Before they knew it, a golden light started to cover the entire mountain.
They could see a glowing light almost shoot up and pierce the sky. The energy started to fade and disappear, and when it completely disappeared, Krynic and Lyon were constantly looking at the site.
“It’s gone… the whole thing, it’s gone!” Lyon shouted.
The large mountain that once stood in the center, along with the greenery and trees that were around it, had all disappeared with the glow. It was there one moment and now it was gone as if it had been pulled out of midair.
“Is that where the others were? Is that where they were!” Lyon asked, as a member of the Dawnblade Clan and one of the Elders he knew that most were in the center according to Krynic.
If an attack so large could get rid of an entire mountain, then what about the people that were there as well?
In the center of the jungle where the ruins were once placed, and the fight was taking place, Raze stood there with his sword by his side. He was breathing heavily, as the attack was somewhat unexpected.
Seeing the large surge of Qi being flung in all directions, he had protected himself with his own Qi. Thankfully, though, the Qi wasn’t as condensed as the attacks that would actually be used towards him.
“Ah, that’s a lot better, right?” Mosak said, stabbing the bottom of his spear into the ground. Now, the area around them, about a mile or so out, just appeared as an empty wasteland. Quite a shallow crater had been made as it pushed things to the side, but it wasn’t too deep to the point where they were sunken into the middle.
If there was one thing that was impressive, it was the platform that they were on. It was still in place, solid just like before.
“Come on, why the long face?” Mosak asked. “With all of our fighting, there would be falling rocks and holes being made all over the place. I just thought there should be a more appropriate area for our fight, don’t you agree?”
After finishing his sentence, Mosak charged forward. The bottom of his spear dragged through the ground, and he flung up a large part of the flooring, creating a giant wave of mud in the air. Raze swung his sword using the Crimson Slash to cut through a part of the large wave but was unable to see where Mosak was before he appeared by his side, hitting him and causing his body to bounce across the floor a couple of times.
Raze quickly got up and was on the back foot, clearly in the fight.
As for the others, due to the Qi being used not being directed at them, they were also able to block the attack from hurting them. It still drained a lot of their energy, and there wasn’t much that they could do in terms of helping out with the fight in the first place.
“Well, I guess it’s my cue to get out of here. There’s no point in getting hurt,” Red claimed. “As for you Light Faction warriors, I will be paying a visit in the future.”
Zon took a step forward as he saw Red scurry towards the jungle, running away from the entire group, but then he stopped completely.
“You’re not going to go after him? Wasn’t he your goal?” Lince asked.
“He is, but… I promised that I would help Raze, and if my system is correct, with the way he is now, he will lose this fight,” Zon answered. “But, I believe I may have found a way that will
allow me to help him.”

Chapter 1046: A Way To Help?
Everything Zon had done, in this world and even in his own world, had been to chase down Red. To make him pay for the crimes and the carnage that he had committed, and Red was right in front of him.
With the new type of energy surrounding his body and suit, it was most likely that Zon would be in a far better situation to even take him down. However, due to the type of person Zon was, he was bound by something-his duty.
To help those that were willing to help him, to keep the promise he had made. He knew where Red was now, so he could deal with him. There would be another chance. Zon couldn’t see Red going anywhere, or him being bested by anyone out there anytime soon.
“You believe he will lose. I thought you would have hope in your trusted warrior,” Lince added.
“I don’t judge on my feelings but based on what I have seen,” Zon answered. “And regardless of that, there is always a chance someone can lose or win, and if I have a chance to increase the one that I wish to win, then I will have to act on that.”
Zon glanced above him, where the fight was half of the time in the air. Raze was swinging his sword desperately once in a while using some of the Dark Edge Sword Arts. It appeared as if they were the only thing that was working.
Yet, Raze would get hit after displaying strong techniques, and he would bounce on the ground, and be hit up in the air. There was only so much one could take, and they wondered just how long he would take.
Elsewhere on the field, Beatrix had finally recovered enough to stand again. The pain that had been running through her stomach had somewhat disappeared, but regardless, it was the only time now they could get out of the area, so they had to move.
“We should go now. We don’t know how long the Dark Magus can hold him back,” Ricar claimed.
Up to this point, she was moving along with Ricar, but then suddenly stopped.
“What do you mean, do you think he’ll lose?”
In some ways, she was saved by him, and she had made a promise to hand him the Golden Globe. If he died here, how was she even going to keep that promise?
“I don’t know if he’ll win or lose, but you have what he wants in your hands, so we have to move.”
Beatrix wanted to stay; she felt like they should stay. They were all involved in this, and they were leaving it to one person who was their enemy in the past. The Light Faction being just, the Dark Faction and the Demonic Faction being the bad factions in the continent, this didn’t feel like the actions of a clan that saw themselves as the example and above the others.
“Not just that, you have to remember that we have something else to worry about as well,” Impress said. “Although that Red guy ran off, he could be anywhere in the jungle. He has to get off this island as well, and he had come with us. So do you know what that means?”
Beatrix didn’t answer.
“It means that Red could be in the jungle. He could have just pretended and is waiting for us to enter and attack us, stealing the item at any point and time.”
Hearing this, it was making Beatrix believe that staying was even more so the right choice, so she had made the decision.
“Then I will stay here,” Beatrix said. “With the Golden Globe. I promised that I would hand it to him. In my mind, the item already belongs to him and I just have it for safekeeping. If this is where the Dark Magus falls, then it means it’s where the items will fall as well.”
Ricar was perplexed by the situation because he believed that even if Beatrix had these morals, the item falling into the hands of the maniac Mosak was possibly the worst outcome.
So what could he say to her to convince her she was making the wrong choice? Before he could even speak his mind, Impress had drawn her sword and pointed it right at Beatrix’s neck. “You damn bitch, I will slit your throat right here and take that item from your hands. Hand that over to me now before you cause even more problems!” Impress demanded.
The large-scale fight had moved away from the original position, but for Zon, instead, he had moved closer to the original platform that the group was on. Lince had decided to stay close to Zon because he was interested in what he was doing and knew very well that he couldn’t do much to help in the fight.
Zon walked around the platform, placing his hand on each of the edges, and then when he stood in the center, his arms started to light up. As they did, several small explosions went off around the edge of the platform, crumbling the ground.
Right after, the platform started to drop. It was falling back down, the same way they had come down the first time. They were going back to where they had just come out from, which had come as a big surprise to Lince.
They continued to fall further and further until the platform had crashed on the ground, and rubble spread out everywhere. The platform was no longer in working condition, that was for sure.
“It’s a good thing I jumped at the last second before it hit the ground,” Lince stated. “But why have you come back here? What did you see?”
“5324 power stones.” Zon answered and lifted his hand, a red beam came out and blasted the power stones in one area. He stayed there for a few moments until more crystals started to shatter and fall. “5278 power stones are left. I’m going to get rid of them all.”

Chapter 1047: Brigning Out All The Stops
A sword was pointed directly at Beatrix. It stopped her from moving from her position, although she wasn’t planning to move anywhere in the first place. She firmly gripped the Golden Globe in her hand as she looked at Impress.
An Elder of her own Clan.
“What are you doing, Impress?” Ricar shouted and almost charged forward, but as he did, Impress stomped her foot on the ground, emitting a large amount of Qi and destroying the floor.
She was showing that she was serious about this matter and even if Ricar was to get involved, she would be willing to fight.
“You two seem pretty tired. I imagine you have been through a lot, so a fight with me is not in your best interest,” Impress stated. “And besides, I’m doing all of this for the clan anyway. If we don’t return with that item, the Aurora and Illumination Clans will have every right to shun us.”
“How many people have we lost on this mission? People from the clan have died for this item, and you will just give it away. I will not allow it. I will not allow the blood of our clan to result in the clan falling and losing its place.”
“This item will result in a lot more deaths than that!” Beatrix replied, as she lifted her leg and kicked the top of the blade. “So, you really will have to kill me and pry it from my hands!”
Raze was in the air, having jumped after Mosak. He was looking to his left and to his right, not knowing quite where he was, when his Qi could sense something in the air. The moment he noticed it, all he could do was lift his sword in front of him to block the attack ahead.
The powerful swirling Qi had sent Raze crashing into the ground, his body creating a deep fissure and cracks in the floor. Mosak was able to keep his own body levitating in the air from his own golden mystical power.
He then started to spin his spear again, and several shots went in the direction of where Raze was, hitting every area close and near him. Whenever this attack was used, Raze had no choice.
From the floor, his sword was encased with his Qi, and he swung it in the air above him from one end to the other.
‘Eclipse Strike!’ The sky was covered in his Qi, attacking all of the fire Qi shots at him. They had encased and absorbed them, adding to his own energy, but it wasn’t enough as Mosak was already on the floor having avoided the strike completely.
‘This fight is different compared to the one that I had with Belil,’ Raze thought. ‘Belil was able to completely overpower me, but it’s not the same in this case. Thanks to the power I have from Belil, these hits aren’t able to completely wear me out, but I wonder how much that’s due to the potency of the Demonic Qi I’m using.’
‘It’s not just helping me get back my Qi, but it’s somewhat healing my body in the middle of the fight as well. Regardless, this fight is harder because I can’t even use my magic, but there is one thing that’s clear: this man is nothing compared to Belil!’
Although the Qi that resided in Mosak right now might have been more powerful than that which was used with Belil, his skills weren’t the same, and the intimidating aura that came off from Belil wasn’t the same.
If Belil was able to use his full power of that of a Divine warrior, Raze was sure that Belil would win against this man, so he felt like if he was to lose now, after being given Belil’s power-even without magic-it would be an insult.
“What are you thinking about!” Mosak shouted, coming in close and striking with his spear.
Raze moved the sword perfectly each time to block the attacks coming his way but didn’t see the foot as it hit him in the stomach.
The spear was thrust forward right at Raze, but he managed to lean back in time, seeing the tip of the spear go right over his head. As the attack missed him, the power of the attack continued tearing up the ground in a straight line behind him.
Raze used his hand to push the spear out of the way. Then Raze swung his sword to attack and was on the offensive for a short while, hitting the spear in places.
“There was one thing that Belil showed me!” Raze claimed.
“Belil…” The name had caught the attention of Mosak for a moment, and that’s when he noticed the Qi wrapped around the sword. He had seen this once before, but it was a little too late.
As the sword struck and Mosak blocked the attack, the Qi left his weapon and started to wrap around his body.
“Ha, come on, attack me if you dare!” Mosak said as he clenched his fist and energy exploded out from him. It broke the wrapping around him.
“I just needed a moment,” Raze answered. “I just needed a small moment.” Raze’s hand had glided across his sword, and as it moved across it, his Qi was encasing his weapon. Yet oddly, in doing so, as his Qi passed the sword, the sword itself was appearing translucent. It almost looked as if the sword was see-through.
The sword now looked like a weapon that was a ghost itself, which truly fit the name of calling it a Ghost Blade. Yet there was a faint glow covering the weapon.
“Belil taught me that the Dark Edge Sword Arts formations were meant to be used with Demonic Qi in the first place. Just because I can’t use my magic doesn’t mean I’ve run out of options!” Raze said as he moved his sword through the air, and almost a spectacular image of the sword from his Qi would be left behind.
Several images of the sword would last less than a second as they disappeared into the air. “The Dark Edge Sword Arts Fifth Formation! The Phantom Edge Formation!”
