Lince had heard the request, and imagined that Raze had asked him of all people to help him, because he was the fastest of the group, but he wondered why? Why was it that Raze wanted him to head all the way to the back?
“I’m not sure… if Amir is going to be enough to take him on though,” Lince said. “Based on what he’s done so far, it’s going to take the both of us.”
Lince quickly needed to move as he saw a lightning bolt appear from the sky. Before he knew it, the Enaxx that was in front of them was behind them, and a lightning bolt was struck aiming right for Raze.
Using the dagger, Lince was able to somewhat control the lightning strike to his weapon, and then with his Qi he flung it to the side so it burst into the ground and deflected the attack.
“Oh, you warriors are certainly interesting, you are far more interesting than the other ones that I faced!”
At the same time, Amir had leapt right through a fireball attack. He had covered himself, making his arms grow in size and tucking in his knees. When he jumped, it almost was as if he was a giant ball of mess, and had broken right through the fireball to reach where Enaxx was.
Using his arm, he tried to reach for Enaxx before a fire spell hit his arm knocking it out of the way. Thankfully due to his special Hybrid form the flames didn’t appear to affect him as much as others.
‘Based on what I saw when he fought against Raze, he needs more time to conjure bigger spells,’ Amir thought as he continued to strike but were thwarted away by countless fire spells.
Enaxx placed both hands on the ground, and a wall of fire appeared, but Amir carefully dodged it out of the way and tried to reach.
Although the spells being used by Enaxx weren’t extremely powerful, due to how strong he was, each fire spell was like an explosion that would set him back a bit, and it was proving incredibly difficult for him to get close.
Both of the leaders of the factions were fighting with almost everything they had. Even Lince didn’t hold back using his Qi, he couldn’t when he was fighting against a lightning user.
‘The attacks from him, they’re incredibly fast, a lapse in concentration, and I might not be able to deflect.’
Lightning bolts struck at Lince several times, and he moved each time, hitting them away. In order to conserve Qi, he had to consistently pour it into just his arm as he would deflect the attacks and they would hit the ground exploding several times.
‘Crap!’ Raze thought as he held onto his chest. ‘Even though I have Qi running through my body, I’m still suffering from some type of side effect from using the item. I can’t even help these two out, and the way Enaxx is attacking, it’s clear he’s attacking so I can’t move. If I do, he’ll strike me in an instant.’
Raze was wondering how long for his body to recover so he could at least use some Qi. His plan was to head to the back of the battlefield where the carriages were, and then he would start to absorb the crystals that had been brought by the Demonic Clan.
He had a reasoning for this, because he was going to use the crystals to break through to the next star stage. The aftereffect of using the special item was that he would no longer be able to use magic for a short time, just like anyone who used their breakthrough.
However, there was an exception to this. When a mage broke through, it reconnected their mana heart instantly, allowing Raze to use his mana again.
Because of this plan, this is what he wanted to do from the beginning. Use the time, use his breakthrough to give their army an advantage, and then head back and breakthrough bringing himself back into the fight at full strength. The only thing was, he never expected Enaxx to be here.
“You’re waiting, to recover right?” Lince said as he continued to block attacks. The next lightning strike he had blocked he tried to redirect it at Enaxx to hit him, but it was harder than he thought and had just strayed off to the side.
The only good thing, Lince thought, was that the mage didn’t want to move from his position, he wanted to stay where he was and attempt to fight from a distance.
So far now Lince was doing nothing but blocking, but if it continued he would run out of Qi, and he imagined he would run out before his opponent ran out of mana.
“Once you’re recovered, go to the back. I’m not sure the two of us can beat this guy, but we can hold him off, while you do what you need to do!” Lince said.
As he tried to rush forward.
“No!” Raze shouted out.
Lightning strikes went toward Lince and he used his dagger to deflect them all. As he closed the distance, he was then ready to dive straight ahead kicking off his feet, when he was struck right from the side.
A powerful strike hit his body, and a deep cut had appeared breaking through him. He crashed into the ground but quickly got up to look at the wound.
“What was that, a sword strike, and from the side?” When Lince looked at who it was, he was confused, and he needed to make sure that he was counting right.
‘That won’t work.’ Raze thought, because he knew well.
Now when Lince counted, there wasn’t just two Enaxx’s, there were three of them out on the battlefield.
‘His magic may be weaker than others, in terms of spells and spell combinations, but there’s a reason why they let him into the Grand Magus!’ Raze thought. ‘Enaxx, can copy himself a lot more than just twice!’

The fight across the large field was heavily going in the Dark and Demonic Faction’s favour. They had a large morale boost after seeing the Dark Magus taking out a number of them, and on top of that both sides had anger.
The Dark Faction warriors, some of them were still mourning the loss of their young. Believing that these people were the ones responsible for attacking them.
One of the warriors stabbed an individual through the chest, and then spun its body, blocking another strike from a particular individual. He then kicked the body into the person as he went to strike even more.
“You Dark Faction Scum!” the Light warriors shouted. “Using bodies as defensive measures, this is why you all need to be purged from the world!”
“You’re calling us the scum!” the warrior shouted as he attacked and was locked in sword-to-sword combat against one of the skilled Light Faction members. “You killed our people, you attacked the academy of all things. I think we all know who the real scum are hiding behind fake morals!”
The variation in power was making it hard for even the Light Faction to act. On one of the towers nearby, a flying creature was seen reaching the top and destroying it.
Mantis was up above and caused the entire tower to fall. Below there were those that were trying to get close to Mantis, since he was a hybrid creature that could attack from the air, they wanted to get rid of him before all of their towers fell, but on the ground, Ricktor and Mada were causing quite the stir.
Large water strikes and kicks were being delivered knocking out several people. While on the other side, intense flames were being produced thanks to the special equipment they had.
Then there was the Demonic Faction, having recently suffered from an attack, their pain was fresh. It was a retaliation attack, and the clan leaders as well as the clan members weren’t afraid to show their strength.
Waves of people were being lifted into the air, as they showed their force and why they were in the Demonic Clan that valued strength overall.
There were of course losses that were occurring on the Dark Faction and Demonic Faction but they were extremely minimal due to the unison in the group’s attacks.
“Something is weird,” Rayna said.
“What, the fact that all of these people are weak. It’s expected, the Light Faction has fallen from what it used to be, and the civilians have always been weak!” Fing shouted.
But it wasn’t that, there was another odd feeling, that Rayna had. On the battlefield, although a large number of them were attacking and being attacked, it almost felt like the worst was yet to come.
‘Why haven’t the top Light Faction Clan heads joined the fight yet?’ Rayna wondered. ‘Raze informed us of the power of their weapons and sword skills, but they still haven’t come out, and I have a feeling the artifacts that are being used, they aren’t powerful at all, it’s almost as if they are waiting for something, just what are they waiting for.’
Rayna wasn’t the only one that had a strange feeling while out on the battlefield, Beatrix did too, which was why she had decided to go in deeper. She was swiftly gliding along the battlefield.
Carefully being able to use her delicate foot techniques and her sword skills to strike and deal with enemies in one hit. She had moved through the battlefield with minimal effort as she ventured closer to the castle wall.
Most of the warriors wouldn’t have been able to get through the large number of people so quickly, but Beatrix could. When she got closer she was in for a surprise though.
As several warriors pinned in a semicircle formation had their swords drawn out and all of them were pointed toward Beatrix.
“Beatrix, it’s just as Impress said, you betrayed us, and now you have gone over to the other side!” one of the Elders declared.
“Ricar gave everything for you, he did everything to raise you, and you turn on us and do this. What is deserved for you, is a quick death!”
All of them looked like they were ready to strike and the most dangerous thing about the top Light Faction clans were formations. Even with her strength, she wouldn’t be able to take them on all at once.
There was also the fact that she didn’t want to hurt those from her fellow clan over a misunderstanding.
“I’m sorry!” Beatrix said as she had pulled out an orb-like structure with her other hand. She then started to pour her Qi into it, and the area beneath the others’ feet started to light up.
The item that Ricar had given her, allowing her to change the land, in exchange for energy. She could use Qi or power stones and in this case had decided to use her own Qi. The floor started to shift and move, and the Dawnblade Clan members were soon taken to another area, but in its place a new piece of land was shifted in front of her, and there were more enemies at the front.
“It’s okay, I have to do this, I have to get to her, I have to get to Impress!” Beatrix thought.
—— Back at the area where Raze was fighting not too long ago, three Enaxx had now appeared. Amir and Lince had regrouped so they were back to guarding Raze but they wondered how they were meant to deal with three Enaxx at once.
“If there’s three of him, is this guy even killable?” Lince asked.
“I haven’t succeeded before,” Raze answered.
“Haha look at this!” Enaxx claimed with laughter as the three of him gathered together. “It seems for the first time the Dark Magus has gotten allies on his side, but even now things are useless.
“I have to say Dark Magus, you made quite the show at the beginning, but all of it is useless, I can tell from your actions you understand nothing right?”
Raze didn’t understand what Enaxx was babbling on about other than putting himself in a weak position.
“You see if I was you, I wouldn’t be worried about me, the main person to worry about is him on that wall. You have no idea how much power that man really has.”
As Enaxx finished his words, Heino stretched out and lifted his hands. “Over half of our forces look to have already perished, I guess it’s time,” Heino claimed.

Heino lifted his hands, and his entire body was starting to be surrounded in a white glow. It wasn’t just his body, as shortly after, the entire battlefield—right underneath their feet—began to glow slightly as well. The illumating light was a large distraction for all.
The warriors stopped attacking for a moment as they noticed the shining from underneath. It wasn’t just those from the Demonic and Dark Clans; everyone else had somewhat stopped, confused at what was taking place.
Safa, seeing what was happening, quickly used her god eyes to try and assess the situation, and she was finding it hard to believe, as she watched the flows of magic.
‘There’s so much mana being stirred in the air and underground, but there’s an even bigger energy source beneath all this… it’s incredibly deep but the energy is still being drained from it. Did Heino plan this from the beginning? Did he plant an energy source underneath to be used?’
Of course, this wasn’t something anyone would predict. Why wouldn’t the enemy have a large energy source? What they hadn’t expected was for it to be on the battlefield itself.
To cast a large spell now, if it was one meant to attack, would mean that allies and enemies would be caught in the crossfire.
“What is going on?” Lince asked.
There were multiple thoughts going through Raze’s head at this moment, but even he was unsure. To see Enaxx unfazed and not shocked, though, meant that it couldn’t be an attack. And if it wasn’t an attack… what was it?
The light started to shine even brighter, making it hard for anyone on the battlefield to see. However, if they focused and concentrated, everyone began to notice something.
Those who were fighting with cuts and visible wounds on their bodies, they were starting to heal, disappearing as if they were never there in the first place. Everyone was getting better—and it wasn’t just Heino’s side—it was those on both sides that were fighting against each other.
“Is this some type of large-scale healing spell?” Liam asked.
“No,” Safa replied. “It’s not Light Magic, I can be sure of that. This magic—it has different properties.”
The light was still active and that’s when those on the battlefield noticed even bigger changes. Those who were on the ground, unmoving, were starting to stir.
Their fatal wounds, being stabbed through the chest, body parts that had exploded due to Qi—all of it was coming back to how it once was. Then when their bodies were whole again, like they used to be, they started to rise from the ground.
Just like before, this was happening to both sides. Those that had come back from the dead were left confused.
“What happened… I was stabbed in the chest, but there’s nothing there? But it wasn’t a dream—they’re all in front of me.”
More changes were occurring, and now it wasn’t just those that had fallen on the battlefield, but even those who had been attacked by the Dark Magus. Those whose bodies were electrocuted or had dark magic erase parts of their heads.
What’s more, those who had no body at all, those who had been completely destroyed by dark magic—every last particle—were reforming and reappearing again.
Rayna was looking around with everyone else, because fallen men were appearing right in front of them.
‘No… no… no, this can’t be!’ Rayna thought. ‘All of them, all of them are coming back. The ones the Dark Magus took out, and the ones that we took out. Is this the bad feeling I had… is this why the others weren’t participating?’
“Everything—it’s being reset!” Fing said. “Everyone that died, is coming back.”
“Not everything is coming back,” Dame noted. He could see that although the wounds on the outside of his body had reverted, the Qi that he had used during the fight had disappeared. And now he was starting to understand the large danger that was occurring.
In order to make a big impact, Raze had attacked with everything he had, using a massive amount of his power—and he was in the current situation as a result of it.
Trying to play on that momentum, all of them had done the same. Using large attacks, great waves of Qi—and the momentum had been building completely on their side.
Now all of that was useless. The vast amount of power they had used—it was all wasted. The advantage they had, of losing very few men in the battle so far, was gone.
Because the whole one hundred thousand force was back again.
“Fight!” one of the generals shouted.
The warriors and everyone who had just come back immediately started to fight. And now there were more of them compared to before. The attacks were relentless, coming from all sides, and the warriors were in a panic.
They were fighting those they had already killed, and now had to deal with more from behind.
Rayna, Dame and Fing did their best to fight hard, and were doing well again, but a deep fear was striking the back of their heads, and it was the same fear that was spreading out to the rest of the forces—what if this time was the same?
If they expended their energy and the enemy was to come back to life again… wouldn’t it be a waste?
However, with the forces they were going up against and how many they were facing, they couldn’t afford to think this way. Hesitation on the battlefield was instant death.
“See? What did I tell you?” Enaxx claimed. “He is more dangerous than anyone here, and he has a lot more tricks up his sleeve. But it doesn’t matter, right? I’m here to deal with you—and he’ll deal with all of your allies.”
Seeing the situation unfold, Heino couldn’t help but let out a large amount of laughter.
“This is the power of Time Magic.”

The situation had instantly turned on its head. Just moments ago, it was the Dark Faction and the Demonic Faction that had the upper hand. They were fighting off several warriors, and the words of what their leaders said stuck in their heads.
As long as each of them could defeat around six other members, then they would be doing their part in the fight. Some of them had defeated more than six and continued with the momentum. It was an easy victory for them, and an easy way to complete the vengeance they had on their minds.
Yet the whole momentum had shifted in the others’ favor. All of those they had fought so hard against, using their energy, were now back. The ones they had already defeated were fighting again.
More so, unsure if they could come back again or be revived, they were using this second chance to their fullest. They were fighting knowing full well the fear of death, and even those that were just regular soldiers were doing anything they could to win.
Spitting in the eyes of opponents, hiding among the dead on the ground and springing an attack—it was proving extremely difficult for those with fewer forces on their side.
“Keep fighting! It’s unlikely that they can do that again!” Rayna shouted. “We have to push forward! We will win this fight!”
Rayna tried to shout words of encouragement. The thing was, they wondered if it was true. The Dark Magus they had set their journey on with—where was he? They knew he was somewhere among those in the crowd, but why wasn’t he fighting as hard as he was before?
Had he already been vanquished, or was it something else? Without him, could they even win this fight?
“Don’t worry,” Dame said. “There are others in this group that can push forward for us!”
Tilion smashed his shield into the floor, creating a large barrier, blocking several attacks from the tower. As soon as he stopped, he bashed the shield into the face of another, spun his body, and used the sharp blade edge to slice another warrior’s head off.
Not long after, Lilly jumped with her spear and slammed it into Tilion’s shield, powering it up. Now with more energy, Tilion hurled his shield toward one of the built towers that was raining down a strange energy source into the battlefield.
It spun in the air and crashed into the tower, sending it crumbling down onto the floor.
As the other warriors tried to target Tilion—now that he no longer had his shield—Alba on the ground attacked their swords, slicing them up one by one, getting rid of them fairly quickly.
“The Crimson Crane… they’re so strong!” the warriors said. “Remember, they did a lot in the last attack—they’re incredibly strong.”
“Right, the Dark Magus wasn’t the only one in the fight. He didn’t accomplish things on his own. With them, and the others, we can still win this fight!”
Although that was true, Rayna could see there was movement among the enemy forces. Those that hadn’t moved so far were finally starting to make their move.
“Sir, there is a clan of strong warriors aiming for our horsemen—they are struggling to break through!” one of the soldiers said.
“Right, I guess it’s time for me to use the time that’s been given to me,” the general said, as the gem around his neck lit up. Almost instantly, his entire body looked like it had turned into mist.
He weaved through the crowd of fighting like it was nothing. No one batted an eyelid as the fighting continued, and they thought nothing of it. When the general reached his target, his body solidified from behind, and he swung down his sword, striking a warrior deep right in his back.
Another warrior saw this and attempted to strike with his Qi, but the man in mist disappeared, turning into nothing but mist, and then reappeared, striking right at the head of the warrior.
Even normal civilians with the power of the artifacts in their hands were able to defeat warriors with powerful Qi.
Elsewhere on the battlefield, there were more generals making their move. One of them was holding up a large flag in his hand. As he reached part of the front line, he stabbed the flag into the ground.
All of the soldiers around could feel a large surge of strength. As they struck their swords and shields against the warriors that had Qi, the weapons matched.
“How is this possible? These people—they can’t use Qi, but they just withstood our attack!”
“Stay within range of the flag, and protect the flag!” the general shouted, as soldiers gathered around the flag.
It was too late for the warriors to notice that the power was coming from the flag itself. And now, going against normal civilians—it felt like they were going up against Pagna warriors. Not only that, but they were outnumbered as well.
Elsewhere along the line of the battlefield, there were warriors clashing with those from the Light Faction. It was a tough fight between the Demonic Clan leaders and some of the Light Faction Clan leaders.
The Demonic Clan members were actually the ones that had the upper hand as they were fighting.
“We have trained our whole lives to go against you. This is not going to be as easy as you thought! Once we’re done with you, we need to go help the others in the other areas!” the clan leader shouted.
Until he had been stabbed straight in the back with a sword. The clan leader looked behind him to see one of his closest men—another Elder—attack him.
“But… why?” the Demonic Clan member asked.
As a smile crept on the man’s face, it started to warp and change—and it turned into Heino himself.
“It seems I have to get my own hands dirty in this fight. Years of gathering some of the most powerful items at Alter are finally coming out to play!”

Heino, Red and the Light Faction leaders were still stood at the wall observing everything.
They could see firsthand how the tide was changing, how everything was so carefully plannned.
It was quite clear that the generals knew about what was taking place and in order to not lose their precious items they hadn’t gone in for the attack.
Now with them moving the army strength was being shown.
“I’m really starting to wonder just how many powerful items Alter had.” Impress said. “If they had slowly tried to take over area from area with these did we stand a chance.”
“Don’t you see it already?” Kawak stated. “He already was doing that. He had the empire under his fingers and the Light faction…with us it’s the same thing. This is it, this is happening right now, this is the battle that will decide who rules all of Pagna.”
Still as all of them did observe they were noticing something in the battle their were small sparks taking place areas that were meeting no resistance and were growing strong making their way toward them.
In one area they could see three of the Demonic Faction warriors from the Neverfall Clan powering through.
Dame, Rayna and Fing. There energy while fighting was allowing them to take out anyone who came close and didn’t even appear to be having trouble as they pushed forward.
What the Light Faction leaders also noticed was that Rayna was a light of hope. Her words allowed the group to continue on and seeing her keep pushing forward made it so they did the same.
Then elsewhere there were two others that were having a large Impact.
“Is that healing magic they have a light mage with them and a powerful one at that.” Heino commented.
Safa was powering through with a group of warriors and was healing all of their wounds as they pushed.
While Liam was using the power of hi system to coordinate the group the weak points in the enemies formations and attacking at the right times himself.
It was unexpected for two young ones to be creating a rather large ripple and then there appeared to be two others that were fighting through the mess, they were fighting close together but didn’t appear to be working together.
Both of them were females that stood out using there sword techniques. They swiftly were dealing with all those that came there way and even when talented and powerful warriors came at them they could quickly take them out.
“Isn’t that one of yours?” Cicle asked.
“Correct it appeared she turkey has gone to the other side fully.” Impress claimed looking at Beatrix.
“The other one who’s she, she’s using Dark Qi but I’ve never heard of one as talented as her.” Kawak asked.
Only Heino recognized her because she was the Deleter Shay.
“I think it might be time.” Red said as he was observing two others. They weren’t making a big impact in the fight but had defeated anyone coming towards them.
The reason red noticed them was because even from a far away distance not for a second had Zon taken his eyes of him.
“These small ripples being created in this fight, can prove extremely difficult for us if we don’t take them out now.” Red said.
“I agree.” Heino ordered as he moved his hand in front of his face changing his appearance not only his face but also his clothing.
“It’s time for us to join this battle.”
Elshwere though things were different.
The situation was beginning to turn on its head even faster with the generals entering the fight and using their weapons and one side wasn’t even aware fully of what was taking place, the battilfiled was far too large for that.
“Crimson Crane gather!” Alba shouted, and lifted her sword up she shot a small part of Wi in the air that would be recognized by all members and they immediately came down to her postion, including even Forma who had been using one of the towers to attack from up high.
Still even gathered together they were unable to stop fighting as the forces surrounded them, all they could do was listen to her words.
“We knew this would be the case, we fought so long all of us to become something in this world filled with warriors!” Alba shouted. “We finally became something. Our name is known far and wide, and our name has spread to the corners of every clan!
“However what is the use if our name is only cemented now. Is that really how small our goal is? Today is our chance, to not just cement our names for today but to be cemented in Pagna history.
“Each of us in the Crimson Crane need to make sure our name is remembered. Split up and use everything in your power to take out the troublesome ones!”
Alba twisted her hands and activated the power of the sword. Not caring for the curse the power flowed through her as she charged forward.
With a single swing of her sword as if a giant tornado had appeared, a large group of warriors and soldiers had been wiped out and she didn’t stop her advance there.
The group knew what they needed to do, it was time for them to split up and go after the generals to do as Alba instructed to cement their names in history, weather they lived or died today would be the day they made their legacy.
Right after the Crimson Crane members left, Forma looked to Fixteen who had stayed close by near her side.
“Can you look after me after this, I’m not sure…if I’ll be able to survive or not but I have to do it.”
Fixteen could hear Forma’s voice the amount it was trembling he finished striking one warrior and came right out for him.
“Forma Don’t!!!!” Fixteen screamed but could see she already had the blood bow in her hands.
“A hundred thousand arrows…fire.”
