Raze had made it clear to those that knew the truth about him. That he was going to leave and if anyone wished they were free to join him.
Liam and Safa had already decided they were going to come regardless of what had occurred.
They had their reasons: excitement, closeness to Raze and everything that they had built up was because of him, so they felt like they needed to finish the journey with him.
Then there was Dame who had similar reasons. He was fine and somewhat expected that they might want to come.
There were those he was taking back to Alter, like Charlotte but wouldn’t necessarily be continuing the journey with him.
So he thought that was it, until Beatrix had made this suggestion. She wasn’t from Alterian, she wasn’t with Raze the entire time, only partly the end of the journey, what reason could she have for even wanting to go with him.
“I’m not going to say no,” Raze first said. “But…we aren’t exactly close, I need to know your reason. I can’t let people from other worlds just travel.
“That was what had caused a large troublesome situation in Pagna in the first place. Are you looking to travel and aid with me, a fresh start? I need to know your reason first.”
Beatrix continued to shuffle her feet across the floor as she had been thinking of an answer for a while now.
She wanted to just speak to Raze first, about the Bloody Woman, but then things just changed.
“I’m confused, and Pagna no longer feels like my home,” Beatrix answered. “Part of this is because of what I’ve seen from the Bloody Woman.
“There’s a need for me to head to Alterian now. I need to fix some things, that even I don’t understand yet.
“The other part is myself. I have nowhere to go. The Light Faction aren’t the group I thought they were, those morals that were embedded in me. They are gone.
“I can’t look at any of the Elders the same anymore. I can’t teach the future generation because I don’t believe they are right anymore.
“When I look for answers in Pagna, at the Dark and Demonic Faction, I find no answers. When I listened to your proposal that had occurred, I wanted to know more about you Raze.
“What had happened to you, what world did you grow up in, and what had you been through for you to come to your truth.
“Because lately, I have been coming to grow and see things more your way.
“So why do I want to go to Alterian? Because I need to discover this truth, and this nagging feeling that is annoying the other thing inside me.
“If you take me to Alterian I will help you, because I want to see the rest of your journey as well,” Beatrix explained.
It was a long-winded explanation that Raze didn’t completely understand. It sounded convoluted, but that was what happened when two beings were unionized into one person.
“What happened to you is partly my responsibility. So I guess I should be the one to look after you, but Alterian is a dangerous place, and the things we will be doing is extremely dangerous.
“You could be hunted down, and forced to take out those you don’t wish to,” Raze reassured. “So I will ask you again, are you sure you wish to come to Alterian.”
“Yes, I’m sure,” Beatrix said.
It was a person Raze never expected to come on this journey with him, but it would be someone of great help, and a powerful ally.
With that, they had left, and the days had finally gone by.
The finer details of the process were solidified out. It would take weeks to implement them but everyone knew where they would go from.
So everyone started to head back to their clans to prepare for the change that would occur in Pagna.
Raze and his allies had decided to split ways.
“I won’t be seeing you off, dear friend,” Lince said. “So this is my goodbye. It appears that Belil was right, you really were the person that was there to save Pagna.”
“I still haven’t figured out everything yet,” Raze replied. “We still don’t know why the portals are opening, or why Alter were working with the Grand Magus in my world.
“There is a chance there is still more linked to all of this, but thank you for your help in everything. With you looking after Pagna behind the scenes the people can worry less.”
Splitting off they continued to venture until they had reached the town of Flendon. To Raze’s surprise the whole town was there waiting for him, as they celebrated with loud cheer.
Everyone waved at not just Raze but all of the warriors that had returned, and the whole town was in celebration.
There were free drinks and food, as all of those enjoyed themselves telling tales of the great battles they had been through.
This was certainly something that would be recorded and told throughout Pagna’s history.
Nearly everyone had decided to stay who had been a part of Pagan as they knew what was to happen.
Then the next day had arrived. The Crimson Crane, the Dark Faction and all of those that were part of Raze’s group had been told to gather at the town hall.
They had entered into the meeting hall. All standing as Raze stood at the front, he wasn’t alone, Amir was by his side holding onto the precious golden globe that was in his hands.
“The day has arrived, we will now be sending everyone back to where they need to be…and it’s time for us all to say goodbye to Raze Cromwell as he returns to Alterian.”

Everyone who needed to be there, who wished to say goodbye to Raze and the others, had gathered in the town hall.
Then there were also the others that needed to be sent off on their journey as well.
Standing in front of them all was Amir, who had placed the golden globe on the podium.
“Once a month, the item’s full power can be used. The God-tier powered item that allows one to travel between worlds, dimensions, and realms,” Amir explained. “An item that originally belonged to our people.
“However, we from the Bonum Society will not be using it for ourselves. Our home was already destroyed, and we had used it to come here, to make Pagna our home. Now we will be using it to send the rest of you home.”
One of the ex-Alter members who were being sent back raised their hand.
“The item, if we get sent back, does that mean there is no way for us to come back to Pagna?” they asked.
“If you have the item with you, I suppose there would be a way,” Amir said. “I can’t say it’s impossible, as many of you happened to come here by accident, but to purposely come to Pagna in the future, I doubt it.
“To reconfirm your decision, think of this as a final goodbye.”
The Alter member then raised their hand to ask another question.
“When it sends us to our world…can we choose a location, or will it just send us somewhere randomly, and will we be split up if it does?”
It was a good question to ask, and one that Raze was interested in as well.
“When the power is used, it will send all of you to the same location. One person activates the portal, and the rest walk through it. Once the person who has activated the portal walks through it, it will close.
“Of course, there is a time limit that will also close the portal, but these portals can stay open for hours; they don’t stay permanently open like some of the portals on Pagna.
“So, all of you will end up in the same location. However, each time the portal is opened to that place, that might not always be the same location.”
Amir waited to see if there were any more questions, but it didn’t seem like there were. So, the Alter members who came from another world walked forward.
They hadn’t come from Alterian but had come from the same world as Himmy. Agents who hardly worked in the field due to their weak power and weren’t at the base at the time.
Those that hadn’t been eliminated.
“I need one of you to place your hand on the golden globe, and when you do, think deeply about the place you want to go, a solid memory. Your mind needs to form a connection with the place to allow a portal to open up to it.
“If you think of other emotions, it may open up a portal to the wrong place.”
Amir was thinking about the old Bonum Society members. How they had felt when they needed to leave their home.
Whoever had activated it probably had done so thinking of somewhere safe, or somewhere far away where they would have no troubles, which had eventually led them here.
One person had volunteered; they closed their eyes to envision the place, and the golden globe lit up.
A small beam of energy started to shoot out from the item a meter away. The energy hovered in the air and then started to spread out.
The energy was gold in color, and it had formed and turned into a large circle in the air.
“Did it work?” one of the Alter members asked.
“You are unable to see through it; the only thing you can do is trust that it has worked for you and take a step through it.”
The other members looked at each other and gulped.
They walked towards the portal, and before stepping through, they turned around. The friends they had made in Pagna hadn’t come with them to see them off.
They couldn’t because what Raze and the others were doing was to be kept a secret. Tears welled up in their eyes, and then they took a step forward through the portal until the last person had entered, closing the portal completely.
Just like that, they were gone, and no one even knew if they had gone to the right place or not.
After the first group had stepped forward, a few individuals had gone ahead, and then it was finally time for Zon and Anna to go ahead.
“Zon!” Liam shouted. “Thank you for everything you did, thank you for helping me.
“The noodle shop as well, I talked to them, I said that you wouldn’t come back. They were sad to hear; they wanted to see you again…but I think they understood.
“Raze isn’t the only one that made an impact on this world, and even though you two weren’t trying to help us or me…you really did help the two of us.
“I hope that both of you can live a happy life now that you’ve done everything you needed to.”
Zon placed his hand on the golden globe, looking at Liam and Raze, and had a large smile on his face.
“I gave you that system because I don’t want you to die,” Zon bluntly said. “So don’t die; otherwise, I might have to travel through worlds to come and get that system from you.”
They looked at Raze with a smile, and the portal opened up. Both of them walking through it at the same time, ending their journey in Pagna and heading back to Trozen.
Now, all that was left were those heading to Alterian.

Those that needed to go back to Alterian were just those close to Raze. The Alter members that were still in Pagna had decided to stay, enjoying the life and family they had built up.
However, there was some disconnect with what was happening with those with Raze.
As Charlotte had decided to walk forward toward the Golden Globe, and she had done so alone.
“We talked about this, so you understand how I feel, right?” Charlotte said.
“Are you sure about this?” Raze asked. “You can always travel with us to start off on our journey; once you are where you need to be, then you can go where you want to be.”
Charlotte let out a big smile.
“We already talked about this, Raze,” Charlotte said. “I started this journey alone; Himmy was the one that saved me, and he’s gone.
“I don’t feel like I’ve really been a part of your journey, Raze. I’ve only been an observer in it all. You know how us Mages are, believing in the way certain things need to be, a natural order of things.
“I will be okay on my own. It’s Alterian; I have friends and family still there waiting for me. The path you are taking is not the same.”
Charlotte then placed her hand on the golden globe, and unlike the others before her, it activated fairly quickly, opening up a portal.
It was as if she didn’t even have to have an image in her head. It was that strong.
Before heading in, she turned around to look at Raze one more time.
“Raze, I will be watching you from wherever I am in Alterian. I will be following the news of the Dark Magus, and I will be supporting you from the shadows.
“You were able to accomplish it all here, so I believe that you will be able to do the same in Alterian. Himmy was right about you as well; you are a special person.”
Charlotte walked backward, heading into the portal, and it closed right after her.
Finally, it was time for Raze and the rest of the group. He had walked ahead, and there were Safa, Liam, Dame, and Beatrix.
Their weapons that would surely be on display had been hidden in crafted item boxes, ones that looked like they would hold musical instruments.
Unlike Pagna, the world of Alterian was not one where regular people would walk around holding weapons.
Maybe some guild members, but even that was a rarity as well.
Lastly, there was one more mage that was coming with them, Aurora, who had a large smile on her face.
“Finally, I’m heading back; I’m going back to Alterian! Thank you, Raze, thank you, and I’ll get to see my brother again.”
Raze would look after Aurora for a while, depending on where they were. Although he wasn’t too sure, he still felt like his interference in using the Astral projection technique was what might have caused the portal break to Pagna.
It was too coincidental, the timing of things. So he felt like it was his duty to bring her back to his brother.
She wouldn’t be part of the journey, but just for a short while.
‘Who knows, maybe I can use her as a bargaining chip in the future. Her brother has a high position and is already distrusting the Grand Magus,’ Raze thought.
When walking over to the golden globe, they all stood around the item. Only Raze and Aurora could use it to activate the item.
“Things will be a bit different for you, you know that?” Amir said.
“Right, because I will be taking the item?” Raze asked.
“Correct, you must be the last person to walk through the portal, and you must do so with the item,” Amir explained.
“Do you think I will easily be able to use it to come back?” Raze asked.
“That’s hard to say; it depends how easy it is for you to think of the connection of this place,” Amir explained. “Just a tip, in each world, the date of when the golden globe is active is different.
“From our records, we knew the set date, but in Alterian, it will be different. Right at the top, one golden circle will appear the day before its power can be activated. You need to look after it because I am expecting you to return it back to us where it rightfully should be.”
Raze smiled. It should be an easy job; he didn’t have to carry the item around after all. He could use his blazer to cover it up.
Slowly, Raze placed his hand on the orb; he closed his eyes for a moment. The task to activate the globe was easy.
It was just like when he used the astral projection technique, so he was quite used to it.
The portal had opened up rather quickly, and he let out a big sigh.
‘Am I nervous for some reason? It hasn’t even been that long compared to my entire lifetime… and I’m nervous to go back.’
When Raze looked up, he could see Safa turning around, looking at everyone; Liam did the same, Dame, Beatrix, and even Aurora, and they all walked through it just fine.
They were gone just like that, onto the other side.
Raze then picked up the golden orb and then turned around to look at everyone behind him again.
“Now I know why I was nervous…it’s not because I’m going back to Alterian,” Raze said, so everyone could hear. “It’s because I don’t want to leave all of you.
“All of you…have become my friends. I don’t know why it was so hard for me to say those words.
“So I will say it again to you. Goodbye, my friends,” Raze said as he walked through the portal, and it closed up, heading to Alterian.

When news of MVS, MWS, or any other series comes out, you will be able to see it there first, and you can reach out to me. If I’m not too busy, I tend to reply.
Everyone’s minds felt like they had melted into light as waves of color passed through their bodies, energy flowing in and out in every direction, wrapping them in sensations beyond comprehension.
Traveling through the portal created by the golden sphere wasn’t like any portal they had seen before, not like the ones in Pagna, or the rifts that opened to other realms. This feeling was different. It was the same overwhelming experience the Alterians had gone through the very first time they crossed over.
But for Raze, this wasn’t the first time. Not quite.
I entered Pagna in a new body… Raze reflected. And since then, I’ve returned to Alterian using astral projection more than once. But now, I’m going back like this… in this new, real body.
Will I still be able to access Qi the same way? Will the magic I’ve cultivated still flow through me? he wondered. Still… the biggest advantage I have over the Grand Magus is this, they don’t know what I look like. I have the freedom to strike. And I wonder… just how far the Dark Guild has expanded since I’ve been gone.
Ibarin, Gizin, Trubin, and Idore… I’m coming for you. And this time, I won’t fail.
The pull of energy and emotion slowly came to a stop. Raze could feel it, the solid weight of his body returning. His eyes opened, and the first thing he saw was the smooth, cold pavement beneath him. The chill of the surface grounded him.
“We’re here,” he whispered. “My real body… is in Alterian.”
He could feel it in every cell. There was no mana leak. The Blazer device was still strapped to his arm, functioning perfectly. And when he reached inward, yes, his Dantian responded. His Qi was still with him.
Raze’s strength was intact. A middle-stage warrior nearing the divine level, and a Seven-Star Mage in progress. While he still lacked a few stars, the hybrid combination of warrior and mage had made him deadly, powerful enough to fight a Grand Magus. His battle against Enaxx had already proved that.
“Mommy! Mommy!” a child’s voice cried out in the distance. “Those people just appeared out of nowhere! And some of them look really weird!”
“It worked! It actually worked!” Aurora’s voice rang with joy. “We’re really here… we’re back in Alterian! You did it, Raze, you really kept your promise!”
Lifting his head, Raze looked around to confirm what he already knew. They were in a public park. Neatly paved paths wove through planted trees and lush green hills. And beyond that, the world of Alterian unfolded before them, gleaming skyscrapers stretching into the sky, surrounded by floating vehicles zipping through the air and gliding smoothly on the ground.
Colorful, swirling advertisements danced overhead, powered by enchantments and magic. The familiar sight brought a strange sense of nostalgia.
“This place is insane!” Liam said, eyes wide as he pointed up. “Those buildings are taller than anything I’ve ever seen. I think… I think some of them actually reach the sky.”
“There are so many of them,” Safa added, turning slowly in a circle. “And so many people too… I don’t see much open land at all. Just concrete and moving things everywhere.”
“Is it really smart to build so many glass towers?” Beatrix asked skeptically. “If there was a battle, wouldn’t they just shatter and crumble? Seems like poor planning to me.”
Aurora laughed at their reactions. It reminded her of when she first arrived in Pagna, except now, the roles were reversed. They were the outsiders.
“Don’t be silly,” she said. “People don’t just randomly fight in the streets here. This is a city that follows strict rules, well… most people do, anyway.” She glanced at Raze with a knowing smile. “But don’t worry. You’ve got me as your guide. I’ll make sure nothing happens to you.”
The group had agreed on their first step before leaving the portal. Raze’s priority was getting Aurora back to her brother safely. Only then would they turn their attention to their true goal, the first Grand Magus target.
Still, Raze knew he had to plan carefully.
The meeting place for the Dark Guild… it’s far from here. I doubt I can use the astral projection technique while physically present in this world. I couldn’t use it in Pagna either, not to duplicate myself. So that leaves me with only one option: go there in person.
Following Aurora’s lead, the group began making their way out of the park and toward the city proper. Aurora explained that she would stop by a public office to request a call to her brother. None of them had communication devices, and she didn’t want to draw attention by showing up with unfamiliar people, it might raise alarms or, worse, get them mistaken as kidnappers.
In the meantime, she enjoyed showing them the wonders of the world she called home.
As they walked through the park, they passed children playing with magic, juggling several glowing orbs between them using wind manipulation. Magic wasn’t something everyone seemed able to wield, but it was something everyone used. Magical deliveries, enchanted lights, floating transport, it was embedded in daily life.
Eventually, they reached the bustling streets, weaving through waves of people moving in every direction.
“Where are all these people even going?” Dame asked, watching the crowds. “I don’t see any market stalls, other than those… what did you call them? Shops?”
“They’re going to work,” Raze explained. “There are all kinds of jobs here. Some use magic, some don’t. Everything, the flying vehicles, the glowing ads, even everyday tools, it all exists because people work together.”
“I see…” Dame nodded. “No wonder you had such insight in Pagna. If you came from a place like this, it all makes sense now.”
“It’s not all great,” Raze said quietly. “Every place has a dark side. Don’t forget, there’s a reason I’m here.”
As they continued walking, Liam pointed toward a wide staircase stretching hundreds of meters upward. At the top, a massive structure loomed, bold, elegant, and intimidating.
“What’s that?” he asked.
Aurora’s expression shifted.
“That,” she said nervously, “is the Glory Guild’s guild hall.”
