It wasn’t long before Dame was now by Raze’s side; sister and brother allies of Raze were standing in the middle of all this mess.
It was strange to see so many of Belil’s descendants on different sides, and in the particular situation they were in right now.
“Rayna, you’re lucky that we even called you out here in the first place. You’re not even a part of the clan anymore, so I suggest you keep your mouth shut,” Fing shouted.
“There is no one that cares about the clan more than us,” Han added. “This is our place, and outsiders can’t decide what we do, if it’s right or wrong. If you want to stop us, then you will have to do it the old-fashioned way.”
At that point, Raze lifted up his foot. It was one of the first moves that he had learned, he poured all of his Qi, he condensed it down to a single point, and then added in all of the Qi he had himself and that which he had been given as he performed the first descending step.
It crushed on the floor, and the heavy wave of Qi struck it. The entire area vibrated, causing some of the spectators that were watching to fall to the ground, and even Fing and Han were slightly unstable on their feet.
“I have stayed as a bystander in these affairs for a long time, now,” Raze added. “I don’t wish to get involved, but I owe your father a lot, which is why I’m saying this now, I am not going to let you hurt your own family.
“If you do so, then I will do everything in my power to stop you.”
Both of the brothers had been defeated before, and Raze, with the small action he showed, the immense power that he had, it made it quite clear that the two brothers could never best him.
“Besides, both of these two to my left and right now have more power than the two of you, I wouldn’t even have to get involved, so I would be careful.”
When the other Demonic Clan members heard those words, they wondered if what the Dark Magus was saying was true? How could that be?
They knew Dame was a useless playboy in the past, who couldn’t amount to anything, and as for Rayna, although skilled, and had done well with Flendon, it was only due to the support of the Dark Magus.
Han eventually raised his hand.
“Everyone, get to their stations, we shall be proceeding with the event! Rayna, do a good job and make sure the people are where they need to be.”
Han and Fing said as they turned around and headed to the start of the long runway that had been created.
“Well, I think we might have done a better job than expected of showing off your power,” Lince smiled. “I would call that a success.”
“Yeah, but he didn’t have to go that far,” Dame added. “Saying that we could beat them, it might start unnecessary friction between us.”
“What I said wasn’t a lie,” Raze added. “If it came to it, I truly believe the two of you could best your brothers. I think both of you don’t realize just how strong you have gotten.”
The Demonic Clan members were moving as they headed to the stages that had been made for them to sit in and pay their respects. Each of them was given a piece of white cloth, almost like a flag, for them to raise.
From one end of the stage and platform they were sat in, they could look down the path and see the entrance of the Neverfall Clan, where a gate had been built.
Once they had passed through the gate, that was when Belil’s body in its coffin would be placed. For Raze and the rest of his allies, they had been placed at the very end of the ceremony, where the gate was to be taken place.
Now next to him were Safa, Simyon, and Liam.
“I thought that they would have made a big fuss about those two not being part of the clan,” Liam said as he looked down and could see the two of them standing by the large red gate that had been made.
Dame on one side, and Rayna on the other.
“At the end of the day, they are family members of Belil, so I think this is right,” she said.
Right at the other end of the pathway, the ceremony was starting. Carrying the coffin itself was both Fing and Han; they were on either end, carrying the large black box.
Then, not far behind them, were the elders of the clan dressed in several layers of cloth and wearing large leather hats on top of their heads that dragged down halfway to their waists.
On the side, there was music being played from flutes and traditional instruments found in Pagna, mostly string-based.
Slowly, Fing and Han walked as they took their father down the long pathway. As they continued further down, those in the crowd from the Demonic Faction raised their white piece of cloth in the air.
This continued as the group moved further down; they had reached the halfway point, and everyone was in complete silence as they listened to the music.
As this occurred, and it was finally time for Raze and them to raise their cloth, Raze couldn’t help but think about it all.

‘Is this the type of funerals and respect a great person like Belil has managed to earn…I imagine when people found out about my demise, it was celebrated instead.’
These were the thoughts that went through Raze’s head as he dropped the cloth; the sight in front of him had turned, though.
Mumbling from the crowd had started, as they saw one of the elders at the very back had fallen on the ground, blood leaking on the pathway…and with no head in sight.
Just then, as Raze looked, another head right in front of his eyes of the elder had exploded, popping like a balloon, blood splattered in the air, and another elder had fallen to the ground.
“What’s happening!” Han said, turning around as he went to place the casket carefully down along with Fing. The moment he did, he raised his head and could feel an overwhelming pressure along with a ringing sound.
And then everyone witnessed it, as Han’s head exploded, bursting like a balloon just like everyone else’s, and the rest of his body falling to the ground.

An overwhelming amount of emotions had hit Fing right in the chest. His body, he was no longer in control of it; his hands were shaking as he looked at what was on the ground. He had long ago let go of the coffin, dropping it onto the floor.
Now, the only thing he could see was the exploded head, parts of it splattered across the floor. Han was no longer recognizable, apart from the clothes he had been wearing at the time. No one could tell it was him.
“Brother… how, how could this have happened, how could you have been… how did this happen!”
Fing started to remember all the times he had spent with his brother since the two of them were young. Always side by side, the countless missions they had survived and the amount of times they had managed to save each other.
There had been several close calls in the battles they had faced, but they had gotten through it. There were even times where Fing had somewhat accepted that maybe it would be his or his brother’s last days, but it was after giving it all they had.
But this… this was out of nowhere, there was no fight, there was no fighting until their last breath like a warrior. Instead, he had just died on the spot.
“AHHHH!” Fing screamed as he fell to his knees right there and then. “ARGHHH!”
The screams continued, while the Demonic Faction were in quite a stir. They were turning their heads and drawing out their weapons. They hadn’t run away in fear, instead, they were looking for the culprit behind this.
“Someone had to have used something, right, to kill him. They have to be among us, in the crowd!”
“Yes, but… how did they manage to kill the Elders and Han just like that. I couldn’t sense any Qi, and Han was an incredibly powerful warrior, what if we are the ones that are going to get hurt next.”
Already more than one person had passed, but most believed that they wouldn’t be a target, and as for the enemy, they felt like they would most likely be working for the Light Faction as well.
Rayna and Dame were stunned as they watched from where they were. From their position, they should have seen the attack, and seen what had happened. They hadn’t taken their eyes off Han or Fing as they were coming down the pathway, but what shocked them was the fact that they hadn’t seen a single thing.
“We can’t be worrying about the state of the Neverfall Clan right now, we need to figure out what to do!” Dame shouted.
Seeing the sight of the two heads and what had just happened, something had just clicked in Rayna.
“Do you remember what that reporter told us, Bubble?” Rayna asked.
Dame started to think back to the conversation, about one of those from Alter, and what one of their powers were, the ability to explode heads. It sounded ridiculous. Not the act itself, a head could explode with enough force being placed in it, but just a power to do such a thing, that sounded ridiculous itself and impossible to stop.
What Dame did know, though, was what this meant.
“It means we’re dealing with a Deleter!”
The last time the group had encountered a Deleter, great travesty had been caused, a large wide mass of people had been eliminated and taken out before they could do anything. There was a good chance that it was going to happen again, if they didn’t get to the bottom of this.
On the ground itself, immediately the Elders were the first ones to react as they moved to Fing and surrounded him with their bodies.
“What… what are you guys doing?” Fing asked.
As he looked up, one of the Elders’ heads had exploded right in front of him, and the body collapsed to the floor. Despite what had just occurred, they had moved in closer together, still continuing to block the view.
“What, you think just because we have some disagreements that we don’t care for you. We care for the Neverfall Clan greatly as well, just as much as you,” one of the leaders spoke, as another head exploded and they fell to the ground, lessening their numbers.
“Fing, you and your brother are part of the Neverfall Clan, and we would willingly risk our lives for you. We never said that the two of you weren’t needed, and in order for the clan to progress, the two of you are needed a lot more than old fools like u-“
Before the elder could finish his sentence, right in front of Fing, he saw another head explode. Just like his brother’s, he was killed on the spot. He saw no attack, no sign of who had done such a thing, and blood had splattered across his face.
“ARGHHHH!” Fing screamed as he stood up. “Who is it, Who is it!” Fing shouted.
“Don’t be an idiot!” Rayna shouted as she threw her spear into the ground, breaking parts of the floor. She landed in front of him, and her feet on the ground, then taking the spear out, she started to swing it above, gathering the dust and making a makeshift tornado of dirt.
“One of their most likely targets is clearly you, so why would you stand up like that!” Rayna shouted.
“But…” Fing didn’t really know what to say, so he turned his head to look for his brother, who was now lifted off the ground and was on top of Dame’s shoulder.
“We’ll get this person together, in this situation, we are all family, we will do whatever it takes to get through this!” Dame shouted. His body was already starting to change, to transform into its hybrid form.
At the same time, the gauntlets that covered his arms spread across the rest of his body.
“For harming one of us, we will make sure this person pays! Even if they are a Deleter!” Dame claimed.

There were many in the crowd that were trying to figure out what was going on, and that included Raze and the rest that were in his section.
“Hey Zon, can’t you figure out where the attack is coming from and zap this guy?” Liam asked.
“My system is almost the same as yours,” Zon replied. “If you are unable to understand what is happening, then I won’t be able to either.”
“Right, because what’s being used is magic,” Raze spoke. At least that was his theory to all of this anyway.
There was a thought that had been digging in the back of his mind. He had found a particular individual in Alterian that could use Time magic, and that individual would be the old and last emperor that was in Alterian.
Talking about a time that was before Raze, but due to how much of an impact on history the said individual had, there was quite a bit of information about him. As for one of those pieces of information, it was coming to the forefront of Raze’s mind.
“If the emperor is here, then there is a chance that his right-hand man could be here as well,” Raze commented. “Garlon, the right-hand man, who also was said to have the ability to use Space magic.”
Just like Time magic, Space magic was an element that next to no one had, nor was it an element that could naturally be acquired, at least no known way or way shared way among mages. Yet in records, it was stated that not only did the emperor have Time magic, but his right-hand man had Space.
People believed that because of the two rare pieces of magic, and the significance of power they could hold, that the two were meant to amount to great things. To be able to magnify this magic to the point where they could even create their own worlds.
It felt like the mages had the ingredients for true creation in their hands, but the files stated it had never gotten so far. In truth, Raze actually knew more about Space magic than he did Time magic.
This was because he knew more information about the man named Garlon than he did the emperor. In the files, it stated that Garlon was primarily a Wind mage. Just like the emperor, it was theorized that his Space magic didn’t amount to much, and at most, it could be used to move objects or break small things.
To the point where it was more like a different version of Wind magic. What came to Raze’s mind, though, was what if an individual could combine those two things. With the near-invincible and fast-casting Wind magic, and the nature of Space magic.
If someone was capable of combining those two things, then wouldn’t the result be just like what they were experiencing right now, in front of their eyes.
‘This can only be Alter… and I’m guessing it might be another Deleter as well. If that’s the case, we might have quite a troublesome person on our hands.’
“Safa, use your god eyes, you can see what we cannot. If you can see the trail of magic next time he uses that attack, we can locate where he is,” Raze explained.
Safa nodded, ready to tap the side of her temple, but just as she was about to, the ground beneath their feet started to rumble. It was at a great magnitude that even Raze couldn’t stay standing too well.
The stages that were built for them started to crumble and fall to the ground, it shook so heavily, and people were beginning to fall on top of one another. Finally, the shaking had stopped, and when looking at the ground, they could see several large fissures, at least a meter in size, on the floor. Stay tuned for updates on My Virtual Library Empire
“What was that?” Liam asked.
“I’m not sure, but it’s a good thing no one fell down those holes,” Simyon commented.
The group was fine, and most of the Demonic Faction warriors were fine as well, along with the leaders, but everyone was startled by the amount of unexpected surprises that were occurring for all of them.
“Come on, it’s clear staying here is good for no one, let’s head back to our clan, and let the Neverfall Clan deal with this,” one of the clan leaders said. The rest of the warriors raised their swords in agreement.
As they turned to leave, they noticed one of the large cracks up ahead. The clan head had to blink a couple of times, but it was almost as if he could see creatures crawling out from the floor. They were covered in mud.
Some large in size with mighty jaws and a big body. While others, they looked more human, with weapons in their hands but made of a type of stone.
Before the clan head could say anything, the creatures from the cracks started to rush ahead. More and more were coming out of the cracks like some type of army. They clashed right into the warriors, and a fight was breaking out.
It wasn’t just one of the fissures either. The fissures that were spread in every direction, creatures made out of earth and rock were coming out and attacking what they could see.
When one came towards Raze, he avoided the attack and placed his hand on its head, causing it to crumble to the floor. He could see there was nothing inside.
“More magic is being used, but to create something like this…” When Raze looked around, he could see there were at least 1000 creations, and he knew what they were. All of them were Golems.
It was a type of Earth magic that was being used, and depending on how much Mana was powering them, they could be quite impressive, but what impressed Raze was the sheer number.
“Another mage with great power… don’t tell me… that Alter sent two Deleters?” Raze wondered.

The mass amount of golems made from an earth-like ability was even larger than the amount of warriors there were from the Demonic Faction.
They weren’t weak by any means either. Some of the warriors, when striking the large creatures, found that if they couldn’t destroy it in one go, the earth would reanimate and connect to the body of the golems, and they would continue to fight.
Your journey continues at My Virtual Library Empire
It was almost like fighting an undead army, and the fact that they were made of earth made it difficult for them to inflict pain during the fight.
It was even harder than the beasts they would fight against in other dimensions.
“Is this magic as well, isn’t this a bit much to just be magic?” Liam asked.
“Not if it’s Alter,” Zon answered. “Remember, they don’t just have mages but also contain a large amount of special artifacts.”
The Crimson Crane, as well as the others that had surrounded Raze, were part of those finding it easy to deal with the golems that came at them.
Some of them, human in size, were getting slashed and taken out with a single hit. Zon even blasted a large beam of energy from the palm of his hand, causing them to crumble onto the floor.
Yet they continued to pour out of the large fissure.
“This isn’t going to stop until we find out the item, or the person behind all of this,” Raze claimed. “It’s almost like looking for a dimension boss in another dimension.”
Raze himself wasn’t even bothering to waste his energy on any of the golems. With the amount of high-ranking individuals with great powers around him, nothing could even get close to him.
‘Does Alter really think this is enough to take care of me? Or are they just trying to lower our forces and morale. Maybe this is a way to dissuade the Demonic Faction from teaming up in an attack.’
However, while thinking of all of this, the worst part of it all was that Raze witnessed heads exploding in front of him.
Although the warriors were capable of fighting the earth golems, while distracted, they would have no idea what was happening until their heads exploded.
As Raze looked ahead, he could see several heads of warriors exploding, and it was coming closer and closer towards them.
As the fighting from the others continued, Raze could see they were getting further apart.
The Crimson Crane had gone to try and help out those struggling, and it was the same for the others; the only ones close to him were Simyon, Liam, and Safa.
As Raze focused, he could see the exploding heads getting closer and closer to them.
Not wasting any time, he shifted his hands, and a whirlwind started to form right where their feet were. It dragged the dirt around them, creating a tornado of dust.
“The magic being used, one will still need a line of sight to use it properly,” Raze questioned. He wasn’t 100 percent sure of his theory, and there was always the chance the magic user could just use his magic blindly and get a hit if he could control it that way.
Raze had actually gotten the idea from Rayna when she had protected her brother; his plan had seemed to work in some way.
Thankfully, after a while, it didn’t seem like they were being targeted anymore.
“Safa… I need you to use your God Eyes. Follow and track where the explosions are coming from, it might be only for a split moment, but you should be able to follow where it’s coming from.”
Tapping the side of her head, this time she was focusing. As she looked through the wind, she could see a flash of an explosion.
It was another head that had gone off, people getting killed in a single hit. There was only a burst of mana for a short while, so she decided to focus even more.
As she looked in the directions of the heads and the people that were being killed, she could see it.
A thin line that would shoot out and hit towards them. Now she could see what direction the magic was coming from, but it only lingered for a moment.
‘I can see what direction it comes from, but I still can’t link it back to the actual person who is using the magic. I need to figure out some way for him to keep using his magic as we head towards him… Maybe… Raze can protect us as we move forward?’
Safa was thinking about this, but she was worried not just for Raze but the others that would follow.
Someone like Han had even been killed by a single hit, and Raze was using this wind barrier because he too had to be slightly afraid.
Before she made the suggestion, though, Raze could feel a tingle in his right hand; he had turned slightly as he looked off through the wind.
“What is this feeling, this mass amount of Qi? Is this… really someone from Alter? Is there a warrior this strong that’s part of Alter?”
—
The Crimson Crane were sticking together like a unit. It had been a while since they had all fought together, and they were doing well with their synergy.
There was Froma shooting her bow. She wasn’t using the special bow that was granted to her by Raze; even then, she seemed to wince slightly every time she had hit someone or something.
Although there was a bit of relief.
‘These aren’t real people… so it won’t be the same right… it won’t be the same!’
“Do you think this is a good time?” Cronker asked. “I mean, there’s just golems, right. Why don’t we try out our new weapons.”
At that point, Alba then dragged her dual blades out from her back. One of them black with a golden trim outline, and encased in strange glowing runes up and down.
“I was thinking the same thing. Let’s see what these weapons can do!”

The Crimson Crane had the most experience with the weapons that were created by the Dark Magus. All of them being extremely powerful for them so far. There was Reno with his specially crafted Pestle.
The curse on the item was stated that if Reno stopped creating certain medicines or poisons with it, then all of the boosted power from the items created would rebound back and go to him.
The thing was, Reno’s power was related to poison arts. An extremely rare skill, so once in a while, Reno would just not make any items at all, and the power absorbed into him would give him a boost, and he had steadily been growing stronger each day.
There then was Tilon, who had his legendary ranked shield with a number of great effects. To block attacks, charge his own power and create an incredibly large shield. As for the curse, the shield needed to be used in battle once per day, or it would destroy itself.
Equally, if the shield was destroyed, then it would end the life of Tilon himself. There was then also Kizer from the Crimson Crane. His weapon would get stronger based on the number of opponents he was facing.
It drew massive amounts of power by using it this way. However, the curse only allowed him to use a technique once while using the weapon in a 24-hour period. It seemed this curse was on the lighter side of things compared to others.
It wasn’t painful for Kizer, but it did make it so he had to figure out different ways of fighting. Then lastly there was Froma as well.
Her bow had devastating powers, allowing her to shoot a large number of them at their target. At the same time, the arrow’s path was made so it would always hit its target, but arguably out of everyone, her curse was one of the worst.
All of the inflicted pain and suffering that she dealt, it would come back to her after her attack. The pain of those she killed, the thoughts in their mind, it was all felt on her. It had somewhat changed her as a person, but she was still with the Crimson Crane, and stuck by their side in the battles.
Now though, every member of the team had their own weapons, with their own set of curses. They had already decided to stick to using the weapons, and took on the curses with full stride, so they felt like they might as well use them.
Fighting against the countless golems, Cronker had slid between one of its legs and gotten right behind it, slashing at its neck, it crumbled to pieces. Right after, quite a few of them started to pay attention to him, and move his way.
As they all came to jump and attack him at the same time, Cronker had completely disappeared, it was as if he was never there in the first place. When he appeared, he was behind three of them and had stabbed them right in the back. Only there was a noticeable difference on Cronker this time, as there was a black mask that stretched across his face and up around his ears.
It was black in colour, and didn’t seem to be anything too special, but the simplicity of the design was also the simplicity of its uses.
“Invisibility, what a power to have,” Kizer said with a large smile. “I’m almost jealous, only that isn’t my way of fighting!” Kizer swung his sword down, and it crashed into the ground, destroying several of the golems in front of him.
The other Demonic Faction clans and warriors were watching the Crimson Crane, and they couldn’t help but be in awe at what they were showing.
Cronker’s mask was a mythical grade item, and it could do more than just make one invisible. The power also allowed him to make allies next to him invisible within a certain range.
When first using his power, he had the idea to use this in conjunction with the Dark Hand members, who would always be close and by his side. They were used to the way he thought, and it would cover the weakness of the mask itself.
When Cronker attacked, he would appear in sight. However, it was only those that attacked, covered by the power of invisibility, that would show.
So as long as the other ones he had made invisible didn’t attack, they would stay that way until they attacked. When Cronker had originally gotten the item, he was disappointed that he hadn’t received daggers, but this item, in the grand schemes of things with himself and the others, was far better for him to use.
Only there was the downside to the item, which caused him to be wary of using it. Something that he had also decided to keep to himself, and not tell the others.
[Curse Effect: Growing Silence]
[While wearing the mask, the assassin loses the ability to speak or express themselves. After taking off the mask, the effects will linger, and for a window of time the user is unable to speak properly.]
If that was the only cursed effect of the mask, maybe Cronker wouldn’t worry so much, but the curse on the mask was called Growing Silence.
[As the mask is used more and more, the user will lose its ability to speak completely.]
Not being able to talk was a scary thought for anyone. To lose something, when there was a simple solution to it all, Cronker could just no longer use the mask, and he could continue to live the life that he had done.
Yet, in the world of warriors, to have the advantage of invisibility, it was worth it to him. At least with the power he could live to fight another day. After all, the dead couldn’t speak.
There were still two more in the Crimson Crane with powerful items, and powerful curses.
