Chapter 1151: The Future Is Wrong?
The power of the gauntlets allowed Dame to take the power that the dead contained. Somewhat similar to the demonic extraction technique, but it was more than that. It didn’t just take the Qi energy, but almost took their spirit along with the traits of their powers.
What Dame had been using was the specially crafted body that Simyon had built up. That power was running through his body thanks to the gauntlets. The thing was, the power wasn’t a simple swap either. It was added to Dame’s, so his already hard body of a hybrid was amplified due to Simyon’s power.
On top of that, he also had a surge boost with Simyon’s Qi. This was allowing Dame to focus on everything but defense. He had embodied what Simyon was trying to be, the perfect shield, an indestructible force, and he had proved it by withstanding the entirety of the attack that was made by Garlon.
The issue now was Garlon himself. His body was no longer a single entity like it was before, it was shifting through the air. Dame could feel the change when it took place, but he was sure his opponent couldn’t pull off another large attack like that again, so he decided to switch things up.
Using the power of the gauntlet again, he had called upon another fallen figure that he had recently run into, that he recently had managed to pull into the power of his gauntlets. The energy had gathered, and the image that had appeared was of Han.
Fing believed he was past his emotional state long ago. He had buried his feelings deep down for the world of a warrior. Knowing he could lose his own life or anyone around him at any time, that was how they lived.
He was shocked when his brother died because to him it was unexpected, he wasn’t able to prepare for it, and then he was filled with anger. The normal response still, even if he accepted that his brother could pass away at any moment.
Seeing him again though, resurfaced emotions he didn’t believe he still had. He yearned for his brother to come back, he wished he really could be by his side. Just like with Simyon though, the spectral image disappeared, breaking apart, and it now surrounded the entirety of Dame’s body.
‘When changing from one to the other, it breaks away the form of the last one. So the trait of Simyon’s hard body has completely disappeared. As for Han, he didn’t have anything special, it was just himself that was special.
‘Extremely talented at Qi, and he uses the same type of Qi as me, Demonic Qi. The boost in power, and all of his talent and hard work, has now been added to me. Right now, with my power and Han’s, I am the strongest in the Neverfall Clan.’
A quick smirk appeared on Dame’s face as he thought this, because he realized how ridiculous that was. Because there was one individual who he wouldn’t be able to catch up to, and someone who was clearly the strongest in the Neverfall Clan.
Someone who would have finished this fight long ago.
Dame lifted up his foot and stomped it on the ground, unleashing the first Descending Step. A wave of Qi pulsated out, hitting everyone in the nearby area. They could feel the intense power, and with the Neverfall Clan’s specialty, an intense heat spread through his body.
He stretched out all of his arms, and power went to each of them.
“He’s gotten stronger, the gauntlets, the power of the dead. Just what items are they able to make? The Dark Magus, was this something he could do before, is this really the same Dark Magus that the Grand Magus are worried about?” Garlon started to say to himself.
Yet he wasn’t worried still despite seeing all of this. Because in his current form, it was impossible to be hit, and it was hard for him to be found.
“Three o’clock from your position, to your right!” Safa shouted at the top of her lungs. She had one hand on her temple as she unlocked her God Eyes. Although to others the space just looked distorted in the air, as Garlon’s strange body was mixed into the space.
To her God Eyes, she could see everything, and she was able to see the accumulation of magic.
Immediately, Dame kicked off from both of his feet and jumped exactly at the position Safa had called out, and the place where she was pointed to.
‘It’s okay, even if he knows where I am, this form can’t be touched.’
Reaching out with his hand, Dame held onto the strange form, he physically had stopped Garlon from moving at all, he had done so with both of his hands.
‘I forgot… these damn gauntlets, they can grip onto anything. My current breakthrough form, it’s useless against this man.’
All arms were ready, and they started to reach out and gripped parts of Garlon’s body. Dame was grabbing onto the strange form of Garlon’s body, and ripping it, throwing it onto the ground. He used each of his arms to do this, throwing more and more parts.
Although his body wasn’t whole, it was having the same effect as if chunks of his body were being thrown out to the ground.
“But we saw the future!” Garlon shouted in pain. “We saw it, the power of the artifact has never been wrong! What could have changed, in such a short amount of time, to have completely changed the future! We… should have won this… I was meant to come out of this alive.”
In the future seen in the artifact used at Alter, Garlon knew it would be tough, but he still survived, and if he was to perish, he wasn’t so sure about what was going to happen to all of the others.
In the end, Dame grabbed the last bit of Garlon, and hurled it straight to the ground and soon followed after him, falling to the floor. The last piece that Dame had grabbed, it was the end of Garlon.
His body form was reverting back to normal, and Dame could now see in the ground a head detached from its body.
“Safa… we can’t stop here, we need to find the other one, we need to find the other Deleter!” Dame shouted. “And then, we’re going to head straight to Alter, and eliminate them all!”

After defeating Garlon, Dame didn’t bother to pick up the head on the ground or anything like that. Maybe some would have used it as a trophy for their victory, instead he felt like there were more important things on his mind.
He left the area jumping back to where Safa and the others were currently. He could see that nearly all of the golems and demonic warriors had left the fighting area.
It was clear this was being done by whoever was controlling the golems, as they all would have just been destroyed and crumbled in the fight.
As strong as this power or artifact was to summon a large army of this size, the energy to create such things had to come from somewhere, so there was no point wasting energy on creating things that would just perish next to them.
Which was why Dame had assumed that the Deleter causing all of this had to be watching them from somewhere or was somehow able to observe the whole field.
“I can’t find a source,” Safa said as she continued to scan the area with her finger by her temple. “There’s strange magic that is surrounding the golems and the fissures but that’s it. The magic isn’t being directed from a single place or at least not that I can see. So I can’t track it back to a single place like I could with this one.”
Dame noticed Safa’s hands still shaking even now. She also was visibly frustrated that she couldn’t find anything and was still trying to use her powers now to have a look.
“Don’t waste your powers then, I have a feeling that there are plenty of people that will need your help so do your best to recover as much as you can,” Dame explained while looking back in the direction of his fight with Garlon.
He was thinking about the words he had said just moments before his death. Talking about the future and the outcome of this fight.
‘The way he talked he was so sure, as if it was a fact or a line that he just needed to follow. Is there some type of artifact that Alter have that allows them to see the future? Is that why they attacked and knew what was going on here?
‘If they do have such an artifact it’s going to be troublesome to go against but regardless it didn’t seem to go the way he thought it would, that bit was clear.’
“Dame.” A voice called out, it was a familiar voice but the way the voice spoke to him it certainly wasn’t familiar, because it was soft.
Each time in the past when he heard the voice it would be spoken in a condescending way or with anger control but not like this, Dame had never heard Fing his brother talk to him this way.
“You managed to defeat him, you managed to get revenge for Han, justice for Han which I wasn’t able to do. For that..I have to say thank you,” Fing said as he bowed his head down to his brother, something he had done for the first time in his entire life.
When his head raised he was finding it hard to keep eye contact with Dame, until he eventually started to speak again.
“I’m sorry… I’m sorry for the life that we have all lived as siblings. The clan was what was important and I saw that getting close to you and everything you did was just getting in the way of me and the Clan. I know me and Han felt the same way..maybe this is an excuse but everyone around us said the same thing.
“How talented we were and how useless we were. At least Rayna could provide something through a political marriage but a weak and worthless warrior was nothing. So we treated you that way, but you aren’t weak, you are nothing but weak and this whole time we were the weak ones doing what we did.”
The more Fing spoke the more he felt sick as he thought back to everything he had done.
“You did what everyone in the Demonic clan would have done in your position,” Dame answered. “In the demonic faction strength is the only thing that matters, it is everything to those. Honestly I thought the same way, we were all brought up the same way so I understand why you did what you did.
“Through my journey of not having the same strength as you though, I had learnt that there are many different types of strength and through these and support one can even rise above others in terms of strength.
“Think, maybe my strength of my mind getting along with the Dark Magus led me to getting these gauntlets which led me to besting the opponent that we couldn’t beat.
“I have to admit I felt inferior to my brothers and sister but I used that to strengthen my resolve and try to get stronger and now what has that strength led us to.
“The death of our family members, nearly the entire elimination of our clan. In our pursuit for the strongest in this entire station do you know what it has led us to?
“That we have to rely on outsiders losing their lives, that we have to rely on outsiders getting us out of the current situation. Maybe it’s time for us to stop being so stubborn about our own strength. Maybe being the king, the clan head and leader of it all is not what it seems not if you have to lose everything you care about in the way.”
Both Rayna and Fing could truly feel that Dame meant every single one of his words. Although they might not agree with his thoughts now both of them could certainly understand where he was coming from as they all had lost important people that day.
“There’s one person among us who is doing everything because of all that he has lost. It makes me wonder how will the Dark Magus act when he finds out about him…I wouldn’t want to be Alter right now.”

A few of the Crimson Crane members, including Alba the leader, had run into a tricky situation once they had come across one of the Deleters.
Deleters from Pagna were surely otherworlders with strong artifacts that gave them power, but it didn’t seem to be the case for this one.
As this individual with the iron helmet covering their face was able to use the Dark Sword Edge formations. A sword that belonged to the Noctis clan, which was made by the Dark Faction founder.
A clan that no longer existed, and until today it was believed that there wasn’t a single member alive.
The reason for the difficulty was because the Dark Edge sword arts were extremely powerful in anyone’s hands, and the Deleter was extremely skilled.
Thankfully, with their weapons, the Crimson Crane were holding out, until the fourth formation was ready to be used. The Void pulse formation.
The technique’s whole purpose was to destroy strong defenses. Having fought straight ahead with the Deleter’s power before, Alba was afraid, she was deathly afraid that the attack would crack Tilion’s shield and in the process he would be no more.
She was ready to use her own weapons, but there was no need to. An equal force was felt shifting right by the side of her head, and the next moment it was in front of her.
The sword in his hand was shifted forward, and it matched the Void pulse. The two swords clashed, hitting each other right on the tip, and the waves of Qi exploded out from behind in every direction.
From the back alone, Alba could see that it was Raze.
“Is this our chance?” Cronker asked, appearing by Alba’s side. “Now that Raze is here, with all of us we should be able to finish the job.”
Alba was quickly analyzing the situation of the entire battlefield, and in that moment she had decided to make a quick decision.
“No, Raze can definitely deal with this on his own, the best way we can help him is by dealing with the other Deleters. Come on, let’s go!” Alba claimed.
The other two nodded, and in some ways they were relieved that they didn’t have to face this Deleter, but there was still whoever was controlling all of these golems that were spread out through the entire battlefield.
The three of them swiftly left to do what they could to help out in the wider situation, while Raze was left standing in front of the Deleter.
After the two of them had traded with the same attack and the same technique, both of them had jumped backwards several meters from each other and stood there with their swords in their hands.
“Now this is interesting,” the Deleter answered. “I was informed, and heard the rumors that the new person who had taken over the Dark Faction was able to perform the Dark Edge sword arts.
“At first I thought it was just a rumor, or maybe what they could do was just a poor imitation, but that doesn’t seem to be the case, does it?”
Right after finishing her sentence, she lifted her sword up in the air, and the sword was turning an eclipse black.
Initiating this calmly, Raze did the same, and both of them swung their swords down at the same time.
The entire sky in front of them had descended into darkness as the two Qi strikes collided. The attacks wriggled and looked like they were alive as they pushed and pulled.
They were very similar, but there was a slight difference to them both. When both of the attacks faded and the two of them could see each other again, the Deleter had figured something out.
“The Qi you’re using for these techniques, you are not using Dark Qi like intended, instead you are using Demonic Qi. Although the power of your Qi is greater than mine, because you’re supplementing it with the wrong type of Qi, both of our attacks cancel each other out,” the Deleter commented.
She had even figured out how to utilize the characteristics of Dark Qi with the moves, drawing Raze’s attack to a certain point, she could move his and other attacks to where she wished with her Qi, just like a particular man who used to be the Dark Faction leader.
“I had a few guesses myself when I heard about you. Were you someone from the Noctis clan yourself? If that was the case, then maybe I would know you, but you are not a man that I recognize. So we can rule that out of the picture.
“Now that I see you are using Demonic techniques as well, it appears you are a person that has just managed to stumble on these techniques, and now are using them as you wish.”
The Deleter gripped her sword, and then dark Qi intertwined with her weapon. Raze lifted an eyebrow at this. He knew she was using the first formation, but why use it when they were so far away?
He then saw her fling her sword, and the attack come out towards him. Seeing this, Raze had inputted his Qi and struck down the technique, destroying it, rather than using his own.
‘Oh…you can use a technique like that? Maybe…she will have some things she can teach me. If I get her to use all of the techniques of the Dark Edge sword arts, then I might be able to figure out a few things myself.’ Raze was seeing this as an opportunity.
“I bet you don’t even know how to use all of the Dark Edge sword arts. Don’t worry!” the Deleter claimed. “I will use them all on you, but I doubt you will be able to survive till the end.”
Raze smirked as he heard the answer.
“Right…right, but you should know something, there is a large difference between me and you,” Raze said as he lifted his sword in the air.
The entire sword went black the same way it would when he used the eclipse strike, but then something else started to pour out and surround the weapon.
The entire area was shaking, and the Deleter spread her legs out, firming her stance more than she did before.
“This entire time, I haven’t used a single bit of magic in my attacks. If you want to beat me, you’re going to have to use everything you have!”

One of the main troubles of the battlefield were the large mass amount of golems they were facing. For one, they were quite powerful and varied in size. The second trouble was how there seemed to be an endless stream of them.
Continuously, they were coming out from the large fissure cracks from below. Equal at times, if a group or a clan head were doing particularly well, then a new fissure would crack across, bringing more golems to the area.
The more fissures in a condensed area, the more golems a group had to deal with. What was impressive was the large scale of battle taking place was almost like that of a war field. Pagna warriors had great speed and strength, so when fighting, they had covered large and vast amounts of land.
So the fighting was spread relatively far out. What was impressive was how these golems were appearing everywhere, all over the battlefield.
Alba, who had been watching, though she couldn’t pinpoint where this Deleter was, by seeing the changes on the battlefield, yet they were happening everywhere, as if they were looking from above.
“They’re not in the sky, are they?” Alba said, lifting her head.
Two golems were chasing right at her, but before they even reached her, a dagger slit their throat, turning them into nothing but a pile of rocks, and Cronker had now appeared by her side.
“You’re distracted, but it’s okay, I will look over you,” Cronker said.
“Any key changes in all of this?” Alba asked.
“There has been,” Cronker answered. “The young boy that travels with Raze’s sister, it appears that the Deleters have managed to get to him.”
Alba’s heart almost skipped a beat. She knew how much the three of them traveled with Raze. How they were the closest to him and there since the beginning. She was shaking her head in the foolishness of the entire situation, already wondering if they had done anything different. If they could have changed the outcome in some way.
“All I can do now is concentrate on what is happening right now,” Alba said. “The person can’t be in the sky, that’s ridiculous, even with their magic. To create fissures without touching the land, let’s try rule that out for now. I can’t figure out how they are able to see the whole battlefield, but Alter have a large amount of artifacts that allow them to do anything, so let’s take that out of the conclusion.
“If that’s the case, then the most likely answer is that the Deleter is hiding amongst the large group. If he can see us, then he will shift his position each time, so he doesn’t stay in one place, or at least that’s what I would do…so a way to spot where he is, keep track of him, from there and get to him…”
Alba was racking her head, but she thought there might just be a way. She called Cronker over and whispered in his ear. A few moments later, and the three students from the Dark Hand had gathered around Cronker.
Those that used to be in the Dark Faction, well, they still were part of the Dark Faction, but they were working directly with Cronker to form the special group of people who specialized in assassination techniques and silent footsteps.
“I’m counting on you,” Alba asked.
“We shall do our best,” Cronker replied, and he soon disappeared with his power, and all of those that were part of the Dark Hand started to disappear as well.
Looking around the battlefield, there was one more person that she needed to be part of the plan, and she was worried, worried if she could even convince her. Eventually, though, she found her.
Alba crossed the battlefield and sliced and diced any golems in her way. As she continued to charge forward, an arrow went past her head and hit one of the golems, until she was by Forma and Fixteen’s side.
“Forma…we need to stop this fighting, before more people are hurt. I hate that I have to ask this of you, when you will be the one suffering but…are you able to use your special item, like you did against the Behemoth Clan…and can you do it, so you can get rid of all of the golems in one go?” Alba asked.
The cursed effect of the specially made bow was something that Alba never wanted Forma to use, but it was the only way she felt like they could clear this situation incredibly quickly. Forma’s eyes were still dark, she still had bags under her eyes and was never the same joyful self she was in the past.
“Alba…you know if you asked anything that I would do it for you,” Forma answered, as she placed her bow on her back and closed her eyes. Soon, the specially created bow started to form in her hands.
“Forma, what are you doing!” Fixteen shouted, running over and grabbing onto her hand. “You know how long it took you to come out after you used such a thing like last time. Sure, you can use it now and again, but to use it on a large scale like last time. You can’t go through that again, even if it is your clan leader asking.”
Alba wanted to shout back at Fixteen, arguing that it was the Demonic Clan and more members around them that would perish, but she had to admit she didn’t want to see Forma going through that pain again, and Alba could see something clear as day.
Fixteen was in love with Forma, and when one was in love, the pain and suffering that person went through was a lot more painful than everything else that was just going on in the world to them.
“Don’t worry,” Forma answered. “These are golems, they’re not living beings, so it doesn’t affect me. Which is why, I’m happy to do this!” Forma said, as she was ready to fire thousands of arrows in the sky.

Forma pulled and pulled on the arrow, and finally let go. It launched into the air, and formed a giant red ball in the sky. It could be seen by multiple of the Demonic Faction members, and some of them had even heard rumors of such a thing, appearing in the battle against the Behemoth Clan.
A lot of them thought it was rumors until they saw the outcome of what was to happen. The ball started to fire away arrows all heading down onto the battlefield. The red arrows swarmed and moved as if they were alive, piercing the targets in the vital spots.
Some of them going through the head, some of them going through the chest. The golems appeared to not have such a clear mind as warriors that Forma had used this skill on before. They would quickly catch on and find ways to defend against the arrows.
For the golems though, it appeared to catch them all by surprise as they were crumbling extremely quickly on the battlefield, until there were finally no more of the golems left on the battlefield, all of them had perished.
The warriors were twisting and turning their heads, looking at what had just happened. Who had performed such an attack, who was capable of doing such a thing.
“Is this the Dark Magus, did he do this?”
The warriors could see though the Dark Magus seemed to be locked in combat off to the side, shaking Qi reaching where they were. The two’s fighting had been pushed further out from the main battlefield, so it couldn’t be him.
The second question started to appear in their minds though, was that it, was the fight over?
That thought didn’t last long though, as the golems started to come out of the fissures again, rising as if nothing had happened.
“That was your plan?” Fixteen asked. “That was useless. Even if Forma isn’t hurt by this, it would have taken an incredible amount of energy out of her, and now the golems are back.”
Alba was seen smiling, just staring in one particular direction.
“You know, when you have been in as many fights as us, you realize quite a number of things. One of them is how people act. You see, they tend to panic when an unexpected situation occurs and they subconsciously do something that they wouldn’t usually do.”
Alba noticed it as she was looking. Out of all of the warriors, there was one that was twisting and turning their head more than others. Sure, there could have just been a panicked warrior, but the way one acted if their golems were defeated and those disappearing were different.
That was the first part of action, the second part, was even more obvious, a subconscious thought. If in a panic, the person feels as if their life is being threatened, and if that’s the case the first place they would raise golems is near themselves.
Put those two things together, and they would have found their target.
Right as Cronker went to attack one of the warriors in the vicinity, his body had appeared. The item knew when he intended to attack, so he couldn’t help but be seen. One of the men, wearing robes, had quickly pulled out a large particular staff.
As he held onto it, he tapped the floor, and a wall raised right in between the two of them. At the same time, part of the flooring lifted to the side, and went to snap shut on Cronker. They had managed to finally find their target.
The Deleter was indeed wearing the same warrior clothing as the others, and in his hand he was holding onto a spear. The spear itself was just an encasement for the real item that was hidden, which was a staff with a bright gem on the end.
“How did they know it was me, how!” The Deleter thought. “This is ridiculous?”
When the Deleter turned around, he could see another one coming right for him. This one looking far younger. He hit the bottom of his staff on the floor, and the ground shifted. It pulled the very area beneath the Dark Hand member and pulled him all the way back.
Breaking right through the original trapped rocks, Cronker had gotten out, rocks and rubble scattered in every direction.
“We can’t let him disappear, we have to get him now!” Cronker shouted.
The third member had jumped from behind, dagger in his hand, ready to pierce the Deleter’s chest, until a golem had grabbed the back of his foot, and flung him back in the direction he had come from.
“That was a close call,” the Deleter claimed.
Thankfully, through the special use of his staff, he could not only amplify his earth magic to do special things like creating the mass amount of golems, but it also allowed him to see through the vision of all of the golems on the battlefield.
Not just anyone would be able to use the item, as seeing too much would get confusing. One wouldn’t know where their position was, where to summon fissures and place more golems. This was only capable, in the mind, of this very capable Deleter.
Now that he had been caught, it was time for him to move to a more safer area and get away. Another wall was raised by his side and a dagger had been thrown out, getting stuck in the rock. Quickly, the Deleter looked through his vision.
‘Where did that man go, do they really have the vision to just disappear and reappear. It has to be some type of unique trait or artifact of some sort.’ The Deleter thought.
Then he saw Cronker appear again, but it was too late. Only in his hand he didn’t have a dagger. Instead, it was a round vial. It smashed, hitting the Deleter’s legs, and liquid poured over him.
Right after, the Deleter’s own body sunk into the ground, disappearing from sight.
“So I guess that’s how he was able to move around the battlefield so fast and stay so safe, is he a mole rat of some kind?” Cronker asked. “But it’s no problem, I threw the vial on him, so we know now exactly where he is. We will get rid of, every single one of you Deleters!”

There was a large misconception with the Deleter that was known as Kush. Unlike others, although he was from Alterian, he wasn’t a mage. He was a man that used to research the appearance of portals and beast crystals.
Figuring out the uses of their powers and what they could do. He was part of the team that had even figured out that beast crystals could be used as a source of energy and even as a replacement for mana.
It had unlocked a number of uses for the crystals, and further uses for how they could power things in Alterian. It was what had expedited the research and the amount of funds into portal traveling, or at least that’s what people thought.
Kush, being there when everything took place, knew that a large amount of research was going into these portal dimension openings even before they had found full use of the beast crystals. He didn’t know why, as his research in portals had led him to Pagna.
Thankfully, Kush had some crystals on him when he had arrived in Pagna, and using those crystals he was able to create a few things called beast weapons. Weapons that could utilize the strong power of the crystals to become items like those which were enchanted.
There were advantages and disadvantages to this. One being that the way Kush made his weapons, the beast crystal would be visible on the item he was using. So there was an easy weak point.
Also, at times the power didn’t integrate well into the weapon and one couldn’t try to match it to the way they thought. For Kush, he had created his special staff with a powerful earth beast crystal.
It allowed him to control the earth just as good as an eight-star mage, and also summon golems made from the earth itself. Its power had to have come from one of the strongest beasts in one of these dimensions.
As for the ability to see through the creations he had made, that was crafted with the help of Alter. Using one of those items, Kush had a fake eye. With his power, Kush was somewhat safe on Alterian before being picked up.
However, he hadn’t been picked up immediately, and he had discovered the cruel life of the Pagna warriors fairly quickly. Getting on the wrong side of a warrior who had beaten him to near death. At the time, he didn’t carry his staff everywhere due to how ridiculous it would look.
Then, there were those around him who had got hurt. The few friends he had managed to make in the markets and other such places. The frustration had eventually led Kush to a breaking point, and he had used his powers to fight back against the clans without them ever knowing it was him.
Due to the large amount of golems that had attacked the clan, they had believed that it was a portal break, when the truth was it was Kush all along. This first large attack of Kush’s was what had brought the attention of Alter to him.
That’s where he had met Heino. He had figured from the words and rumors as well as the reports that this had to be the doing of a mage, when he had found Kush he was quite surprised that it wasn’t the case.
Heino, in many ways, had become fascinated with Kush’s research and brought him into the main base of Alter fairly quickly. Unlike the others, he wanted to keep Kush close to him to help him with various projects.
As a gift of their relationship, that was when the special stone had been given to him. One that could allow him to see through his creations. It was an artifact that Alter had, but holding onto it wasn’t very practical.
Things weren’t always perfect at Alter. There would be arguments and disagreements among members. This was partly the reason why the Deleters had been created, to have a structure and create fear within the group.
In one such situation, a group of Pagna warriors that were working for Alter were frustrated and had attacked the base. In the attack, Kush had gotten hurt. Inside the base, there wasn’t much earth for him to use, in fact there was none.
And without it, he was pretty much useless in battle. Due to the attack, Kush had ended up losing one eye. On top of that, there was one more thing that had grown in Kush’s mind. It was his hatred for Pagna warriors.
From the day he had come to Pagna, it wasn’t the regular people that ever gave him trouble, he had even made friends with many of them. It was always the Pagna warriors that were ruining his life. The thoughts had already planted a seed in his head, and now being directly affected by it, even in Alter himself, the hatred had grown immensely.
The hatred had grown so much that Kush even wished to leave Alter, and was ready to dedicate his work to destroying the clans all around Pagna. Of ridding the place so the regular citizens could live, and he would do it all with his staff.
Instead, Heino proposed something else. He altered the special item given, so he could input it into his left eye. The damaged eye, now not only could he see, but he could see through his golems and creations.
It had increased his power exponentially, and it had increased the relationship of the two. In return, he would continue working for Alter, but no longer so much as a researcher but instead as a Deleter.
Whenever there was a case or task assigned that needed Pagna warriors, and especially a large amount of them eliminated, Kush would be sent for the job. This was Kush’s journey into becoming a Deleter, and how he had happily accepted the job, of eliminating as many of the Demonic Faction as possible.
Rising his body from the ground in the middle of the battlefield, Kush stomped his staff, and several more fissures had broken out.
