Dark Magus Returns #Chapter 1168: The End Of The Neverfall Clan – Read Dark Magus Returns Chapter 1168: The End Of The Neverfall Clan Online – All Page – Novel Bin

One thing was clear to everyone on the battlefield, the fighting was over. For a while watching from a distance they were witnessing the two large clashes of Qi.

Many of the clans that had already suffered losses were waiting for what was to take place. They knew the Dark Magus was fighting even if they couldn’t see things clearly.

Depending on the outcome, they might have to fight against another monster again, one capable of fighting a large force.

However, the Qi had dissipated, and they knew it, the Demonic faction had won, although for many it was hard for it to feel like a victory.

Being attacked seemingly out of nowhere, never preparing for a fight in the first place. It felt more so like they had just pulled themselves out of a tricky situation.

When counting up the fallen and the dead in the group, it would have been a great loss. Many of them didn’t understand though, the significance of those they had beaten.

“It seems you are doing fine,” Zon and Anna said as they approached Amir and Mantis who was by his side.

“Yes, those golems were quite tricky,” Amir commented. “The Deleters power was certainly strong. It appeared that they understood which one of us would give them more of a difficult time, and had trapped us with endless enemies.”

It was because of this reason, that Zon, Anna, Beatrix and quite a few of the talented warriors within the Dark Magus group were unable to help during the battle.

Only those that were closer to the mess at hand, were able to deliver and help with the final blows.

“It seems a lot of the Demonic Clans have harboring anger, many of them are asking questions as to what just happened as well,” Anna stated. “I wonder if this will be good for Raze or bad.”

“It will be good,” Zon answered. “It’s the best chance to rally them up and pass the blame while people are hurt. We should know that best.”

“Not only that,” Amir added. “The Demonic Clan didn’t really have an idea of what Alter were capable of. This shows their threat. To be honest they perhaps feel like this victory of ours was insignificant.

“But the Deleters have been a larger pain in the Demonic and Dark Faction’s backside than they thought. Always able to take care of influential and powerful figures.”

Saying that, really would perhaps raise their spirits but both Zon and Anna knew based on their system’s facial recognition system, they could see how they all felt.

Elsewhere, several of the elders of the Neverfall clan had slowly come over to where Fing, Rayna and Dame currently were.

At the same time along with the Elders, there was also Liam who had returned as well. He had quickly rushed over to Safa, and when he could see that she was fine there was a wave of relief that went over him.

He didn’t say much, he couldn’t say much because Safa still had the same look on their face.

“The young man, safely delivered Han’s body to the Neverfall Clan. It has been kept in peace along with Belil’s body,” One of the Elders spoke.

“Right,” Fing replied, as he turned and looked at them. There was half the amount of Elders that were present in the last meeting they had.

Many of them eliminated by Garlon, and some even shielding Fing’s body with their own life.

“I know it might not be the best time, but it is an important matter,” One of the Elders softly said. “We need to discuss what is going to be the future of the Neverfall Clan-“

Before the elder could continue to speak, Fing had lifted up his hand gesturing them to stop.

“The future of the Neverfall Clan, will be decided by us here. The three of us who share the blood of Belil. We will all be treated as equals, and I will take into consideration what the Elders have to say.

“However I will state one thing now right in front of all of you. I will be conceding my right to become the next head of the Neverfall Clan. I no longer have the wish or will, and I do not believe I am the right person to do so.

“I will not leave the clan, and will do everything I can to support the next head.”

Right after finishing his speech, Fing bowed his head towards all of them. The words out of Fing’s mouth had come as a surprise to everyone who was there.

The elders, Rayna, and even Dame. He had never seen Fing act this way, or speak seriously for longer than ten seconds, and yet here he was.

“It seems him losing our brother has matured him greatly,” Rayna commented.

And Dame had to agree. It was a strange feeling, he had years upon years of hate for his two brothers. They had practically tortured him while growing up, made his life hell and had always been in their shadow.

There were times where he wished that they were never part of his family, and even through all of that, losing Han, and thinking about Fing, he felt bad for both of them.

“Family, is a really strange thing,” Dame commented.

The group decided to head back to the Neverfall Clan, and the Neverfall Clan members were informing the other clans to head back to the waiting area.

The temporary housing that had been built for them. There would be supplies given out and their wounds would be treated, on top of that, Rayna had declared that an announcement was to be made.

While, Safa, and Simyon were on their way back, they had ran into, Ricktor, and Mada who were moving their way.

“It’s good to see that all of you are okay,” Ricktor said. “But there seems to be one of you missing. Where is the delicious boy?”

Ricktor commented as he turned his head. Immediately though Ricktor could see, Safa’s hands shaking and the look away from Liam’s face.

“What…happened to him,” Ricktor said his hand opened wide.

“Am I not understanding something here?” Mada asked, as he looked at the three that were around. “It seems that I’m missing some context here or something.”

“He’s dead,” Liam finally blurted out. It felt strange it was the first time he had said those words, and it was the first time Safa had heard them as well. “We went up against a Deleter, they had targeted us…and because of him, all of us got to live.”

There was a pause between them, the Elders continued to move on, along with Rayna and Fing, to set things up, While Dame had stayed behind.

The kids, they needed someone right now. They were young, and he wasn’t sure adults who had lived a long life would know how to deal with the current situation.

“And that’s your excuse?” Ricktor finally said tilting his head to the side. “That you met up with the Deleter? Weren’t we all facing the same thing. You two are still alive, and he died…”

“Excuse?” Liam shouted, as he rushed forward and grabbed onto Ricktor’s shirt. “What do you mean excuse, you know nothing about what happened, you weren’t there!”

“What I know is, that he’s dead, and both of you are still here!” Ricktor replied back shouting back.

The frustration in Liam, he couldn’t take it anymore as he made a fist, and went to strike Ricktor on the head.

Ricktor was quick though blocking the hit, and kicking Liam right in the stomach.

Liam slid across the ground, and when he stopped immediately he pulled out his weapons, and ran forward.

“ARGHHH! You stupid idiot, what are you doing saying stuff like that!” Liam shouted as he swung his sword.

Ricktor responded as he struck back with his own Qi.

“Did you really do everything you can?” Ricktor said as he hit the sword to the side. “Are you sure you didn’t let him die on purpose, just so you could get with that woman there!”

The sword clashes were strong and powerful. In each attack it didn’t appear as if they were holding back.

Flames were even starting to somewhat erupt from Ricktor’s glove as he continued to fight.

“For some woman!” Liam shouted as he continued to fight back ignoring the heat. “All of us, the three of us were friends. I wouldn’t do anything like that.

“You understand nothing!” Liam shouted as he started to duplicate his weapons and hurl them all toward Ricktor, who flung them away with his sword causing them to stab into the ground.

“He wasn’t just my friend, he was my best friend!” Liam shouted as tears continued to stream down his face.

Although Liam and Simyon seemed to not get on, it was the opposite. The only time Liam felt like he could talk, felt like he could be himself was when he was around the three of them.

Although he did have a liking for Safa, in the back of his mind he had already decided. He knew that Simyon loved her, and although both of their loves might have been the same, he didn’t want that to get in the way.

He would continue to make the odd comment here and there, but more than anything, Liam wanted to continue to travel. To experience new things as a trio, with all three of them.

So he wouldn’t get in the way of the two of them, and now it had come to this.

All of the built up frustrations were annoying Liam as he continued to fight out of frustration.

At the same time, Mada was watching Ricktor, wondering what had gotten him so angry.

He knew from following him for a while he had taken a liking to Simyon, and it was hard at times to know if it was a joke or not.

However now that he thought back to it. Ricktor had always checked in to see if Simyon was okay.

He helped him with his training at times as well, and even asked about him frequently even when the two of them talked.

It was clear that it was something beyond obsession, and this reaction to it all, had further just confirmed his suspicions.

“Both of them have a lot of feelings to hash out, I think it’s good that they get it off their chest,” Mada commented.

What he was also surprised about, was just how much their strength had grown. When did the lower headband group students catch up to the clan head disciples.

It made Mada think that they too had to continue to train hard. Maybe if they did, the Demonic Clan, wouldn’t have lost so much.

The big fighting had caused some commotion, as Demonic Clan members were wondering over to see what was up.

If it was another enemy or something else. When they saw Dame watching closely they knew that they didn’t have much to worry about.

And some had recognized both of them in aiding them with the fight against the golems. They had figured it was just an argument especially by the words spoken.

“You Fool!” Ricktor shouted. “You should have fought till your last breath. You should have fought with everything you had!”

“I did!” Liam shouted. “We did…I wish I could have done something, I wish…”

“No you didn’t!” Ricktor replied as he swung his sword through the air, and a large ripple of flames had hit Liam, sweeping him off his feet and causing him to land on his back.

When Liam went to get up, he could see Ricktor’s sword pointed right at his throat, it was there just as a threat and he didn’t go any further.

“If you really did fight with everything you had, you wouldn’t have even had the energy to fight me…but it looks like to me. You have plenty of energy.”

Right after hearing those words, Liam had broken down, as he let go dropping his swords onto the floor, tears following down his face, and he sobbed. The sound of his cries could be heard and it had caught the attention of one person in particular.

“What is happening here?” Raze asked.

The large commotion and Qi that was flicking off in all directions had caught the attention of many of the warriors who were still out on the field.

And that included Raze himself. He had met up with Alba and the others on the way back. Learning about how they had managed to defeat one of the Deleters.

He had even heard who had done it in the end, and he had a good guess that Alba must have used her weapons.

Especially by the worried look on her face. He had made all of the cursed weapons for everyone in the end, so he knew all of the effects of them as well.

He had asked the group to rest up, even congratulating them and giving them all a few words of praise. He told them to head to the temporary housing area for now, as he had a plan to try and rally up all of the Demonic Clans but he wanted to talk to Rayna about it first.

What had come as a surprise to them all. Was the few words that Raze spoke just before they had left.

“All of you, did a good job. It’s good to know that you guys are by my side,” Raze stated.

A warm feeling was spread across all of their hearts. It made them wonder if this was the same Raze as they had met before.

His whole demeanor was changing, he was being more thankful and wasn’t demanding things in return for them.

It was almost as if Raze was starting to feel like a friend to them.

“Oh, one thing Raze, who’s the woman next behind you?” Alba asked, until she noticed the helmet that she was holding.

They all recognized the helmet, but they weren’t quite so sure if they were ready to know the answer.

“She’s no longer fighting for Alter,” Raze stated. “I gave her a red Qi pill so she could recover a bit, but don’t worry I’m keeping her close to me, she won’t do any harm, I won’t let her.”

Alba looked at the Deleter carefully, she had beautiful light brown hair, and large eyes, with a stunning small face.

If people didn’t know how deadly she was, they would have called her a beauty. That’s when Alba looked down at her own body and her assets that she had herself.

“Don’t worry,” Cornker commented. “You don’t lose out to her, and I don’t think Raze is giving her any type of special treatment.”

Cornker was pointing out the several wounds that were on her body. It was quite clear that they had a big battle until one had eventually lost.

Still Alba was curious about the helmet that she had, and whether her guess was right about the powers that it had inside.

As they rushed off, that was when Raze could feel the Qi and the commotion that was taking place in the distance.

He walked over, and he could hear the loud cries and shouts, and it was a voice he clearly recognized.

Since no one noticed him, Raze had to shuffle through the crowd of people until he could see Liam lying there on the floor, and Ricktor with his sword pointed at Liam’s neck.

He could feel that there was no intent from Ricktor, and the Qi had practically disappeared from his body, so he had come at the tail end of it all.

“What is happening here?” Raze asked.

Raze’s voice wasn’t spoken with anger, but clear curiosity, and although spoken quietly it had commanded a strange type of presence as they turned their heads to look noticing that it was the Dark Magus.

Many of the warriors bowed their heads down, but Raze ignored it as he carried on forward.

“Tch!” Ricktor kissed his teeth as he drew back his weapon into its sheath. “I think it’s better if you hear it from him what’s happened. I need to cool my head.”

As Ricktor went off, Mada had decided to join him. Eventually Raze had reached Liam who was on the floor, who had lifted the upper part of his body.

He was sat up right, on the ground not even looking at Raze, only having glanced at him.

“Are you going to explain what happened?” Raze said as he turned around and could see Dame and Safa next to each other, but as Raze went to meet them with eye contact, the two of them had turned their heads away as well.

Even worse, he could see that Safa had started to sob. Her shoulders were shaking and he noticed a tear drop falling to the floor.

“Raze I’m sorry…I’m really sorry, I guess it really was my fault,” Liam blurted out, his words a bit incoherent due to the sobbing in between but he could still make out what Liam was saying.

“I guess that’s why you trusted him, rather than me…I understand now, I really, really do understand.”

Looking at Liam, looking at the faces of those Raze was close to. The truth was starting to dwell on him.

All of the pieces were coming together which led Raze to ask one question.

“Where is Simyon…where is he?” Raze asked.

“Simyon…it should have been me,” Liam said as he punched the ground.

“Liam,” Raze called out. “Just tell me what happened, where is he.”

Liam taking one big breath and getting control of his breathing finally stood up, and was ready to tell Raze the truth.

Before Liam spoke, Raze’s mind went through various scenarios and he was reliving moments in the past.

He had countless of losses, and each time he had one he felt the situation couldn’t get worse.

He was hurt, even more with each loss he had made, and he realized the reason why, because his heart was getting mended by particular people before they were ripped out and breaking it all over again.

And the same thing had happened again, his heart was being mended by the people around him…and it was about to be ripped out again.

“Simyon’s dead,” Liam said.

Raze already knew the answer to the question based on the way everyone was reacting, including that of Liam.

He was expecting it, and unlike many others, he had lost those that he cared about many times before. However, it didn’t make the experience any easier, it just made one somewhat used to the pain.

After saying those words, Liam was shaking, his whole body was bracing itself for Raze to either hit him, or blast him away with some type of magic.

Right now, he wouldn’t even mind if his entire body had perished. Yet, Raze did no such thing.

“He protected both of you,” Raze answered. “He did so at the cost of his life right…that damned…that damned idiot.”

Looking at the ground, there was a smile on his face, as if he couldn’t believe the situation, or that someone like that would have done such a thing.

“Why didn’t you listen to my other order, I said to not die yourself either,” Raze mumbled to himself.

Unlike Ricktor though, Raze didn’t have anger at Liam, or Safa, or anyone else that was around. If anything the most anger was pointed toward himself.

‘I guess it’s true right what they say, you only realize how much you care about something until you lose it. I thought I had lost so much that I wouldn’t care about anything else, that it would solve my problems.’

It was why Raze took an approach to not get close to anyone, and he had always planned to do that in Pagna.

Yet it didn’t work out. No matter how much he tried to push people away, feel detached from them, he couldn’t help how he felt about particular people.

And this one had hurt.

“Can you take me to him, can you take me to where his body is?” Raze asked.

Liam wiped away his tears, surprised that Raze didn’t act angry, or he didn’t feel that strange dark presence that would often be around Raze when he was angered.

Nodding along, all of them had decided to head to the Neverfall Clan’s base where the body currently was.

Dame, Safa, Liam, Shay, and Raze were on the first floor of the Neverfall Clan. There were a few tables that had been placed out with bodies on it.

Just before Raze had arrived there was Han’s body, as well as the casket that Belil was in.

They had both been transported to the very bottom to be placed with the other clan leaders.

The current setup, was to have only clan heads buried at the very bottom of the Absyall base.

But the Elders and Han, had been given a special privilege to be buried in the ground as well. It was accepted by all of the Elders as well as Rayna and Fing who were making quick decisions based on the entire situation at hand.

Laid out on the table, Raze, Safa, Liam and Dame were looking at the body in front of them.

“I tried,” Safa finally spoke. “I tried using all my powers, I tried using everything I could including the Lux sword to heal him, but nothing would work, nothing would work.”

Based on the countless wounds that were on his body, Raze could understand why. He was beyond gone.

The amount of attacks he had taken with his body. It was telling a story itself for how long he had held on.

Lifting up his hand, Raze then touched the top of his stomach. He wasn’t doing anything special, he just wanted to feel Simyon’s body.

As he started to remember everything about the two. How when they had first met, he had found Simyon incredibly annoying.

The countless jokes he would tell, the number of times he couldn’t stop talking to him no matter how much of a lack of interest Raze showed.

Then he remembered the time where Simyon had even stopped Raze from going a step too far. From there, he remembered how Simyon had stuck with him through every step of the way while he was in this world.

“He was…” Raze spoke out. “He was the first true friend that I made in this world of Pagna…and I never got to really treat him as a friend…It’s like I thought. I’m not a good person, I’m really not a good person myself after all.”

“No,” Safa said. “It was us, it was us that said we could do it on our own. You wanted to stay and protect us, but we said we could do it…Raze…I just don’t know what to do. But I don’t want you to blame yourself.

“And the more I think about it, I don’t think Simyon would want you to as well. I don’t think Simyon would want you to think that his death is your fault.”

Liam had to agree with that. If anything it was their own weakness. How many times had Raze already saved them, pulled them out of the Darkness.

This was not Raze’s fault if it was anyone’s fault.

“The Deleter did this,” Liam said. “The Deleter mage did this, Alter were the ones that attacked us, and we had to do everything we could to defend ourselves…it was Alter.”

When Raze lifted his hand off, something had happened inside him. With the flow of memories with Simyon, and hearing Liam blame Alter.

Everything was building up in Raze. Alter, linked to the Grand Magus, everything linked back to them.

It was something that was continuing to chase him, continuing to haunt him, and it would never go away, until he did something to deal with it.

At that point and time, he felt it, his heart shattering once more. The flowing dark magic came out from his body.

And Liam, Safa and the others stepped away. Liam could feel it, it was the same intense feeling he felt come off from Raze several times before.

Immediately Raze reached out his hand, and he had grabbed the back of Shay’s head.

“Look at it!” Raze said as he pushed forcefully Shay’s head straight to Liam’s body. “Look at what you and your group did!

“Tell me now!” Raze said as with his other hand he emitted a Dark pulse. It shot out and went right through Shay’s foot. A visible hole could be seen through the top of her foot as it had gone through her boot and blood was seeping out.

“Tell me, where is the ALTER BASE!”

Chapter 1172 Take Me To Alter (Part 1)

Raze’s actions had caused everyone’s heart to jump for a moment. Because it was unexpected, one moment he was looking at Simyon’s body with the rest of them.

His thoughts mostly silent, and the next in an instant it had been replaced by a rush of rage.

The anger wasn’t just coming from him, but it was acted upon as well. Immediately, he had pulled the woman’s hair by his side and used his dark magic casting a spell that had caused a baby-sized fist hole to appear in her foot.

The bigger confusion was, they didn’t even know who this woman was that was by Raze’s side this whole time.

“You’re not speaking, you don’t have anything to say!” Raze shouted again. As he pulled her head to look directly at the bloody mess of Simyon.

He then pulled her head back and looked for Safa.

“Ileal her foot Safa!” Raze demanded.

Despite not knowing full well what was going on, she had decided to listen to Raze. She used her magic and started to heal it up.

“Hey, I know you might have thought about giving up on life, but I’m telling you now I’m not giving you that chance,” Raze said.

The reason he had asked for healing from Safa in the first place, was so she wouldn’t. die out from blood loss.

Usually such wounds wouldn’t kill Pagna warriors, but in her case where she had already used a large and almost all of her energy it might have done, and Raze just wasn’t going to take any more chances.

With his other hand, he had cast black magic into his palm, it looked like a black flame was in his hand as it constantly moved.

“Black magic can be used to destroy everything, I’m going to rip apart your skin, and then continue down until I get an answer, and as I said before, I’m not going to let you perish. I’ll get her to heal you, again and again, until I get an answer from you!” Raze said.

Seeing this wild side, and dark side of Raze from everyone else, they hadn’t seen it in a long time, and for all of them it was frightening them to their core.

Even for Shay, the reason she hadn’t responded or said anything wasn’t because she didn’t want to, it was simply because she was in so much shock, her mind hadn’t processed what was happening or why.

“Raze wait!” Liam finally spoke. His legs were shaking it took a lot of courage to say those words, but what he realized was, he didn’t like seeing Raze like this, to descend into this madness.

“Don’t you think you’re going a little far?” Liam asked. “I don’t know what she did, but it won’t bring Simyon back”

The others seeing Liam speak up, they wanted to say something as well until Raze lifted up Shay’s body in front of them.

“It’s because of them, it’s because the three of them arrived that we had to go through all of this. Because they blindly followed that group. If they didn’t arrive, if there was just one less of them, then maybe I could have protected you all!” Raze claimed.

“Wait…she’s a Deleter,” Safa answered figuring it out from what Raze was saying. Almost immediately, the words that Liam had said, everything he had spoken, he regretted them.

“Do what you have to,” Liam said. “In fact… if you need help, I’m happy to do what I can to get some answers!”

Although Safa was hurt by what the Deleters had done to Simyon. Unlike Liam, she still didn’t like what she was seeing or happening, but would Raze listen to her.

Why wasn’t Dame saying anything either, was it because he had lost. Han and Simyon as well?

In the end, she felt like the only person’s words that would get through to Raze right. now, were Simyon’s, and he wasn’t there anymore.

Continuing his act, Raze went to place the dark magic on Shay’s face only this time there was a response.

“WAIT, WAIT!” Shay answered screaming at the top of her lungs. She had been through a lot as a warrior.

She had been chased her whole life, abused by others that didn’t think she was a right fit in her guild and made it to the top of the Nocits Clan so she could forget all of that. The fear had returned until she had joined the Deleters and she thought she would never feel like that again, and yet here she was feeling that exact feeling.

“I already said that. I would be on your side, that I would help you with anything you want!” Shay shouted. “I’m sorry, I’m sorry for what happened to your friend. I’m sorry!” Shay shouted.

It was quite clear that she was still hanging onto life, which was a good sign for Raze because it meant he could get the information he wanted from her.

“Speak,” Raze stated.

“Even if I told you where it is, it would be hard to get there. There’s some secret. passages, magic that’s used to block it from the outside….but-but I can take you there. I can lead you right there. As I said, I’ll help you with whatever you need.”

Dame was watching Raze carefully, he still wasn’t cool headed, and he was worried that he was about to do something rash with what had happened, and his feeling was

right.

“Where are the other Deleter’s bodies?” Raze asked.

Liam had pointed to the other tables not too far away. As their bodies had been brought in.

“Wait Raze, what are you doing, what are you planning to do with their bodies?” Safa asked. In the first place Garlon was just a head there was no body left of him.

“I’m going to head to the Alter Base right now,” Raze answered. “The rest of you, stay here.”

Chapter 1173 Take Me To Alter (Part 2)

Everyone knew that Raze had planned to move quickly after the funeral. That he wished to combine all forces, of the Dark Faction, the Demonic Faction and the allies he had gathered to attack Alter.

After all, Alter had the Light Faction in their back pocket and countless artifacts so it was the only way they could try and match up to their large forces.

But to go now, and not only that, but he had also told the others to stay behind. “Raze don’t be stupid!” Safa immediately blurted out. “If you go alone, you’ll be killed. I know you’re strong, stronger than all of us, but they have so many artifacts they can use, it won’t end so easily, you know that, that’s why you’ve been building up so many people.

“I mean just look at the Deleters if all three of them came at you, would you have been able to survive.

Raze moved over to where Liam had pointed, he uncovered the first sheet and he could see only Garlon’s head.

It was something Raze had actually recognized. Garlon looked like the drawn pictures that he had studied in his research books.

There was quite a bit of resemblance, unlike that of Heino, which was why Raze had never thought it might be the last emperor of Alter.

Seeing Garlon though here, and the fact that he could use space magic, did confirm who he was, and Heino’s true identity as well.

With one hand, Raze had picked up Garlon’s head and placed it by the side of his hip. Using his ice magic he froze it to the side.

“You don’t have to worry too much Safa. I’m just paying them a visit, like they did to us. I’ll be back before the end of the day.”

Raze then moved over to the other table and lifted the sheet. Here he could see the large wound that was in Kush’s chest.

This wasn’t a person that Raze recognized. With a swing of his hand, he activated his wind magic, and the neck had been sliced clean off the rest of the body.

Raze then picked up the head again, and right next to Garlon’s. He had frozen it, to the side of him, having his long hanging trench coat like blazer hanging over the two heads and somewhat covering them.

“You,” Raze said staring at Shay. “You’re going to direct me. Come on.”

Raze reached out with his hand and it looked as if he was going to grab her head. She instinctively tried to block an attack to her neck, but she quickly moved, jumping to the edge of the top of the Neverfall Clan base.

“Come on, follow me, and we can go!” Shay shouted.

Shay moved, and Raze jumped up. Just like that, in front of them, they saw Raze leaving. What he was planning to do, what he had in mind.

None of them were quite sure.

“Should we, go follow him, or try and gather all of the Dark and Demonic Clans?” Liam asked.

“I’m really not sure,” Dame answered. “If he’s traveling at his speed, and he’s running as fast as he can, it won’t take him long to get there.

“And he can always teleport back, to the town of Felndon which is not too far from the Neverfall Clan.

“If we do follow him, and he does nothing, everyone will be in a tricky situation. The best thing we can do, it might be just to wait.”

After pacing back and forth they were waiting for Rayna to appear with matters dealt with so they could inform her of the situation.

They needed a way to calm the Demonic Clans down while waiting for Raze to return. In order to help with this, Safa had taken it upon herself to go and heal members of the Demonic faction.

What had come a little later though, was the Crimson Crane who wished to come and have a look at Kush.

They wanted to take another look at the person that had given them so much trouble. When Alba lifted up the sheet, she nearly fell over backwards.

“Where…where is his head!” She shouted. “That’s definitely his body right, yeah it has the wound through his chest. So what happened, how could this have happened.” “Oh that?” Dame said as he had been waiting at the top floor, to see if Rayna would come out. “Well that was Raze, and there’s something else I should tell you as well.” Dame had filled in the Crimson crane about the details. They came over to look at Simyon’s body each of them paying deep respects to him.

They now understood why Raze might have acted the way he had done, and they understood the lose he had gone through.

This was what Alba had feared. She was worried that she might lose one of the Crimson Crane members at some point, it hadn’t happened so far, but this was the reality of the situation.

When two sides fought, there were losses on both sides not just one.

“I hope…he doesn’t go back to the way he was. He seemed like he was just getting a bit better,” Alba murmured to herself.

Raze was traveling through the land and at full speed. He was no longer following the directions of Shay, instead he was carrying her under his arm while she directed him where to go.

Because he had more Qi and was faster he was able to get to the destination far quicker this way.

Shay realized something as she noticed the Qi and what Raze was doing. That in their fight, he still hadn’t used the full extent of his strength, it was more than a complete

loss for her.

The good news was, the Alter base was placed in the center between all three of the factions so it wasn’t as far as Raze thought.

They had entered the large jungle like area, and after going through a number of maze like passages, Raze had pushed some vines out of the way and come to a stop as he could see the giant mushroom like structure that was in the distance.

“This is it…” Shay said huffing and puffing it was somewhat hard for her to breathe due to how fast. Raze was moving.

“This is the Alter base.”
