The more recent rage that Murkel carried was directed at Enaxx in the first place, and seeing how Enaxx had attacked him first, he was the prime target for using the full strength of his powers.
“The result won’t be the same as last time!” Murkel said as he ran toward the four Enaxx’s.
They had already gathered together in one place, but seeing the man charging at them, they had spread apart relatively quick. The Wind Mage Enaxx used his powers to push them all away, and as they moved, they were using an array of spells.
A thunderbolt struck from one side, aiming to hit Murkel’s body. It was good aim, but the moment it hit, he just lifted his arm. There was no crystallization like before.
Instead, only part of his skin turned red where the lightning hit, and it didn’t slow Murkel in the slightest.
Right after that, a large wall was created from the ground and shoved right into Murkel, but like a wild beast out of control, he ran right through the earth wall, breaking it.
There was still some distance between where Murkel and Enaxx were, but stretching out his hand, Murkel’s arm started to crystallize, and the crystallization grew out and expanded into a sharp jagged object heading straight for one of the Enaxx’s.
The Wind Magic Enaxx lifted himself in the air and threw his hands, trying to attack the red jagged object, but it ended up hitting nothing.
As Murkel reached his position, a giant circular ball of ice was ready to hit him. He swung his crystallized hand right through the ice ball, breaking it apart. Without realizing it, his entire arm was now encased in ice, but he didn’t worry about that for a moment.
Small crystallizations started to grow out from every part of his skin, and as it grew, it smashed the ice apart as if it were nothing. Right after, a tunnel of flames erupted from underneath Murkel’s feet.
It encased his whole body to the point where no one could see him from the outside.
As the flames encased Murkel, the Lightning and Wind Magic Enaxx did their best to constantly throw attacks into the center of the flames, adding to whatever damage was already being done.
Until the uprising tunnel of flames finally came to an end. When it descended, they had expected to see Murkel on the floor, no longer able to fight.
Instead, they saw Murkel’s body covered in red crystallization. He was almost twice the size of his completely human form and looked more like a creature created out of red rubies.
They started to shrink down, and the crystallization was just fine.
‘Damn it!’ Enaxx thought. ‘He used this strange power before, and the crystals were hard back then, but it seems like they’ve gotten even stronger. Is there no way to destroy them?’
Thinking about what to do, there were only a few options left for him.
‘If that’s the case, then only the bigger and larger spells will work.’
It was then as well, that five Enaxx’s were now present. Two of them stayed back while three of them moved in.
The Wind, Ice, and Earth Enaxx were ready to use their spells to keep Murkel at bay. As he chased after one of them, he would use all of his powers to force them to move away from each other.
Meanwhile, the Flame Enaxx and the Lightning Enaxx were conjuring up the largest spells that took time to cast and more mana.
Watching all of this were the three individuals that had been chucked into the middle of it all.
“Murkel, he’s fighting completely different than he fought before,” Amir commented. “He’s using more of the beast’s powers and less of his own martial arts. It’s almost as if he’s given up on his own martial art power.”
In some ways, for Amir, who had been around Murkel for a long time, it was sad to see. Murkel, despite who he was or what he had attempted to do, was a great martial artist.
A once-in-a-lifetime martial artist who knew how to even bring out the effect of the Dark Qi. Yet he hadn’t used any of that in his fight so far.
“We can’t just keep admiring this fight. Right now, both of them are going head-to-head with each other, and it doesn’t look like there’s a clear winner between the two,” Lince mentioned. “This is our chance to get out of here. Raze, let’s take you back where you said.”
Raze was staring at the fight intently as it went on, because he was worried about something. He wasn’t worried about losing his fight. What he was worried about was that Murkel might very well be the victor against Enaxx.
‘I can’t let him take my revenge, I can’t. I’ve come this far, I have to do it with my own hands,’ Raze said, but he knew he couldn’t do it in the condition he was in.
Since Raze was still weak, he allowed Lince to use his strength and was carried on his back. At the same time, Amir had left with him.
They were running past some of the fights that had taken place, until they had reached the very back of the area, where the carriages were set up. Not only the carriages, but Aurora was also there, who had been staying out of the battle.
“Are you okay, Raze?” Aurora said, coming over. “I can’t believe what I just saw… I’m not sure if it’s real or not.”
“I’m fine. You two, bring me all of the crystals that we gathered!” Raze ordered.
After Lince placed him down, Amir and he had quickly gone to get the crystals out of the other carriages and placed them right in front of him. Wasting no time, Raze placed his hand out and used the extraction technique on the crystals.
‘I’m going to reach the seventh star… and get back in this fight!’

A little far out from the main battle, there were three people standing around a hundred meters away from each other, Zon and Anna were stood side by side, and everyone knew at any moment they were about to fight, the finale decider of this large painful event.
“Anna, I wish for you to stay out of this fight and just be an observer.” Zon said.
“Captain!” Anna shouted back immediately. “What do you mean by that, I came here to help you, and I won’t get in the way, you can be sure of that.”
Anna lifted her arm, she had a special bracer around her left arm. It was the item that had been created by Raze for her. Something that he felt like she needed to reward her for everything that occurred.
She was ready to use the item, and she was ready to fight against Red with Zon by her side.
“This is an order.” Zon stated. “All of this mess started because I failed the whole team as captain of the group. Red was out of line, and it is my duty, my responsibility to punish him for it.”
Zon started to walk forward away from Anna who was visibly upset by the request that had been made, but she had decided to listen to her orders as she always had done and started to move back so she could observe the fight from a farther distance.
“So just the two of us going head to head, there was always talk amongst the squad which of us was better than the other, and I guess we’ll finally be able to learn the answer.” Red claimed as he started to walk in a circular figure and Zon did the same.
Both of them seemed to be waiting for the other to make the first move.
“You were a murderer back in Tronzo, and then you joined the fight with Alter as a Deleter, to become a murderer as well.” Zon shouted. “I guess your nature never changed.”
“Not my nature.” Red said. “That was all I was taught to do!”
Red faced out his palm, as it opened up and a red beam shot straight out of it, aiming for Zon.
In response he opened up his own hand and fired out the yellow energy. It eclipsed the red beam destroying it, and part of it continued out aiming for Red.
Red had already moved as the attack had hit the ground and caused a giant explosion destroying part of the floor in the process.
The two of them started to run towards each other in the center, moving their bodies at incredibly fast speeds, and both of them were constantly firing out energy blasts at one another.
However, Zon was able to move his attacks so they attacked straight ahead toward Red’s. As his blasts were more powerful consuming the other attacks.
Seeing this, Red needed to quickly move and avoid strikes trying to attack from different angles.
Before he knew it, Zon had shortened the distance between the two. With one hand behind him he blasted energy to thrust his speed so he could move even faster, and appeared right above where Red was.
With both of his hands he delivered a powerful strike, a punch hitting Red and slamming him into the ground.
Staying in the air, Zon stayed there constantly firing off a barrage of yellow energy shots.
A large red shield of energy was made in the ground creating a dome like structure, but as each of the yellow energy blasts hit the red dome shield it started to get smaller and smaller in size until one blast had hit it too many times shattering it completely.
Zon charged forward again heading straight for the ground, but that’s when he could see a large red energy sword being held and attempted to strike at him.
Moving to the side at the last moment, Zon had narrowly dodged the strike, and right then a blast hit him in the center of his body. It pushed him away and destroyed part of his suit, but the suit was coming back together and healing nicely.
The two of them stared at each other for a moment, as the quick exchange between them had somewhat come to an end. The first of many that were to come.
“Your attacks are stronger, you’re faster than me and you recover better than me. This is all because you’re using that powerful power stone in your body right?” Red said, still calm and as casual as he always was.
“You were quite lucky to get that power stone, you had powerful allies that allowed you to even keep such a thing. Hey Anna!” Red called out.
Anna looked disturbed because Red was calling her just like they used to when they were in the squad. After everything they had been through, everything they had done and what was going on right now, how could he just casually call out her name like nothing had happened.
“Out of the two of us, who do you think is going to win?” Red asked.
Anna gritted her teeth but shouted out an answer.
“The captain of course, he was always more skilled than you, and now he’s even stronger than you as well, you said it yourself.”
“Those words, I can tell that they’re personal, and not really speaking from the system inside you.” Red claimed. “But both of you should know something right?
“Even if you have more power than me, it doesn’t mean you’re going to win this fight, because at the end of the day, the system I have in my mind compared to the rest of you, is far more superior!”
The strange red core spread out to the entirety of Red’s body, and then lifting his hand in the air, he was ready to perform his signature move.

The energy from Red’s core spread through his body. It was pulsating through his suit like blood rushing through veins on a human, and eventually it reached the palm of his hand.
Moments later and several red energy beams started to blast out from his hand and into the sky. It looked like a mass of rainfall, or an artillery strike.
Zon looked up in the air for a moment, as he knew what was coming next.
‘How many times have I seen you use this on the battlefield, when the group was in trouble this is what had saved us many of times, but now, it’s being used against me.’
Fighting Red just kept bringing up memories of the past, and they weren’t bad ones, they were mostly good ones. This was just building up the anger in Zon even more.
How could, a particular person do all of that? How could he turn his back on the whole group, the whole country that he had fought for, and for what reason.
Zon started to move across the battlefield, zapping his way from one area to the next. From the sky itself, red objects were falling down and piercing the ground.
When looking at them closely, what they were, they were energy weapons. Condensed down to the point where they had made a solid form. Most of them were swords, but all of them appeared in slightly different shapes.
While Zon was avoiding all of the items, at the same time he was condensing the energy in his hands. As he stretched out, made from the pure energy from within, two large axes were being held with a double-bladed edge.
They weren’t short axes, but large ones with a rounded curved blade. Right then, Zon’s armour started to shift as well and change. The black suit was almost moving, the strange energy circles that were able to be seen on the outside.
They moved from his arms, his chest, and other areas, until there were six of them on his back, three on each side.
He did nothing but use his own body to avoid the attacks until the last of the weapons had fallen to the ground. There had to be over a thousand energy blades that had been used in the current particular situation.
‘I’ve never seen Zon use something like this, I didn’t even know the suit could change?’ Anna thought as she continued to be just an observer. ‘Is this due to the power with his suit energised. We had been training together, but it looks like he had been hiding something from me as well.’
The red energised blades surrounded the entire field, and Red picked two of them up.
“Come on Zon, use all your anger and see if you can best me, but even with more power, I can tell you now, my system says you’re going to lose!” Red shouted as he threw the energy sword right towards Zon.
Immediately energy blasted out of Zon’s back from the rounded energy circles. It allowed for him to move even faster as his entire body shifted to the side.
It was a burst of energy that immediately stopped when he got where he needed to be, and then when he saw his target, he activated them again. Like thrusters on a rocket, he moved himself forward ready to hurl his weapon right at Red.
Red dashed forward as well with the sword in his hands and swung it against the axes. When the two of them clashed, the axe had broken right through the red energy blade.
But Red quickly scooted around the side, picking up another one of the weapons from the ground and swung it right against Zon’s back. Immediately Zon spun his body to swing the axe from over, but Red had already leant back avoiding the axe strike.
He picked up another weapon on the way back up and used all of his strength to smash the blade against Zon’s body. The red blade had broke, but it had managed to break through part of the suit.
Zon was swinging the axes all over the place, trying to hit Red but he was always just a little slower, and each time as Red avoided a strike he would pick up another weapon using it to strike against Zon’s body.
‘I can’t believe this.’ Anna thought. ‘Rather than trying to fight from a distance or from a medium range, Red has decided to fight with the captain head to head.
‘With the energy in his thrusters Zon is faster than Red, but that’s only when they’re going directly at each other. Zon can produce more power with the thrusters as well, but all of that is useless because Red is right next to him.
‘Usually the weapons would do next to no damage, but using all of the weapons on the battlefield, Red is using more strength than he would not caring about the strength of the strikes to deal at least some of the damage.’
Eventually the worst of what Anna feared was coming true. Red was using the system to plan everything ahead, the right area to attack and then where he could pick up a weapon, and he was using it to predict Zon’s moves allowing him to avoid each strike.
With it, cuts were starting to be made on Zon’s actual skin.
“All this talent, and this is what you use it for!” Son said as he swung the axe down to the ground. He didn’t aim for Red and an energy pulse exploded. It shifted weapons that were in the area breaking and cracking them.
Zon left the axe in the ground, and looked at Red with his hand opened and palm facing outward.
“I gained a lot more than just a crystal back then!” Zon said, as he used the special artifact.
His whole body disappeared, and a blast came straight out of Zon’s hand hitting Red right in the back.
He was now using the artifact he had received from the Deleter.

Zon had obtained one of the most powerful artifacts from the Deleter Scar who had attacked the Dark Faction. He was unable to use it on the special island due to the effects of the island itself.
He was slightly reluctant to use the item, he wanted to take out Red using his own strength. As he said to Anna he felt like everything was his responsibility and using such an item would be useless.
But he had to admit, he could tell if he continued on with how things were, there was a high chance that he would lose the fight.
Zon moved using the item, teleporting himself a short distance from one area to the next, and each time he fired out energy blasts from his hand.
Red avoided some of them, but Zon was teleporting in and out so fast he wasn’t able to avoid them all. With the energy blades he cut through one, but then would be hit in with another.
Right then, Zon had teleported himself so he was right in front of Red, a kick to the stomach sent him flying slightly back and he swung his Axe in his other hand from above ready to slice Red apart.
Red blasted energy out of his hand allowing him to shift himself slightly moving away from the axe and he picked up another weapon from the ground and threw it at Zon.
However, Zon’s body had just disappeared and reappeared again, as he had avoided the strike and aimed to attack Red again with the countless energy blasts from all sorts of different directions.
“I can’t believe it.” Red said as he turned and used both of the swords in his hand to cut and deflect the energy attacks. “You’re using an item from a Deleter, an item from Alter, and not even a small one at that!”
A blast had hit him from behind, chucking him slightly in the air. As he was falling to the ground, Red dug his weapon into the floor to prop himself back up as he slid across the battlefield.
“Even I don’t use items from Alter, everything I’ve done is my own power, everything I have done…I have had full trust in it!”
“Right…right!” Zon said, as he appeared from behind and struck with the axe again.
This time, Red used two arms to block the axe with his sword. As he lifted it in the air it was losing out in strength compared to the axe, but it didn’t matter.
Red let go of the energy blades, and he dived to the side to grab a weapon and threw it to Zon’s side.
Due to how unexpected the attack was, Zon had been hit with the sword, breaking part of his armour which was coming back to the normal again.
“Even if you can teleport all over the place, I can still hit you. You have all the advantages in the world, and you’re still struggling to go against me I see.” Red said.
“Did you ever think captain, why was it, that I was given the superior system. Wouldn’t it make sense to have given the latest system to the one that was to lead us into battle!” Red claimed as he ran and started to pick up several of the weapons.
Using his hand he was changing the form and shape of the weapons. Zon was firing countless energy blasts at him from different angles, but he had to admit, the attacks didn’t seem to be working as well as before.
‘You don’t realise it yourself. But you’re using a predictable pattern. My system can even create patterns, openings and more that it knows your system will try to use, and then I can easily block the attacks coming from that way.
‘Zon, if you lose this fight, there’s going to be a simple reason why, you are relying on the system far too much for your strength!’
Red after running around the field for a while, had gathered enough of the weapons, to condense the energy back into a fairly large shield. Now, he was running toward where Zon was.
As the blasts came toward him, he continued to block the attacks as much as possible.
He was blocking the blasts a lot easier now with an item that had a larger surface area, but Zon was getting used to the artifact and using the item more he had attacked the back of Red’s legs.
As he hit them several times, they had finally gave, and Red fell down to one knee. Right after he saw Zon using the artifact, as he came close with the axe in hand.
“Predictable…that’s what you are!” Red said as his shield which was held in front of him changed shape and extended behind him, almost like five spears had reached out and attacked Zon.
They had pierced part of his suit breaking it, the suit had done its job to protect Zon, or at least he thought. Even Red’s other hand, with another bladed object had extended out behind at the same spot as one of the other attacks.
It was delayed by the smallest amount of time. In order to make it look like one attack, but right after the suit broke, the other attack had hit right after and now a red energy blade could be seen right through Zon’s stomach sticking out from the other side.
“Captain, this has always been your issue, you have always put too much trust into the wrong things. Every mistake that you have made, is due to the amount of trust you have had.
“It was the same as the trust you put into me, and this is what will cause the fight to end!”
The shield broke into thousands of red energy shards. Zon thought it was heading for him, but the shards started to move like a magnet. They weren’t going for him.
Instead it was all directed to the small object, the artifact that Zon carried. As the shards of energy hurled towards it, it shattered the artifact.
“Now let’s see how well you do without that thing you put your trust in!” Red shouted.
